Boys June the Tiffany at its lowest note for the range you've chosen, with the heel all the way down, that way you don't have to think about it when you're performing it'll go to the pitch you need.

yup, putting your fingers on the tip of the mallet is a HUGE no no, and I've seen what happens to it as well
