"Rock n Roll calls its children home," so it appears to the lieutenant. Yet this leg takes a joyful turn: Caroline / Team Caro returns to accompany the lieutenant. And so for the entire journey! She's still on crutches, her injuries far from healed; nonetheless, she's decided to return to the island once more. So, the lieutenant waits in the storm. It gains such momentum that landing seems impossible.
"They can't land the plane" thinks the lieutenant (from his point of view being a pilot as well), but they do land!
However, they don't make it to the terminal. The plane is getting evacuated, and with great effort, the lieutenant manages to get Caro on board the Zetros! With immense relief and joy, from here on, it's all heading eastward!

Und so steht der Leutnant mit dem Zetros im Sturm, die letzte Etappe hat begonnen, die mühsame Rückreise nach Mittelerde, ‘der Rock n Roll ruft seine Kinder heim’, denkt der Leutnant. Und doch nimmt diese Etappe eine freudige Wendung: Caroline / Team Caro kommt zurück, um den Leutnant zu begleiten. Und zwar auf dem gesamten Weg!

In the heart of the tempest, the lieutenant stands firm alongside the Zetros, marking the commencement of the final leg, the arduous voyage back to Middle Earth.
Yet amidst the tumult, a beacon of hope emerges: Caroline, or Team Caro, returns to stand by the lieutenant's side for the entirety of the journey, despite her ongoing struggle with injuries. Undeterred by her physical limitations, she bravely decides to rejoin the expedition to the island once more. And so, the lieutenant waits steadfastly amidst the raging storm, where even landing seems impossible - but against all odds, they do. Though they fall short of reaching the terminal, the evacuation of the aircraft presents an opportunity, and with sheer determination, the lieutenant successfully escorts Caro aboard the Zetros!
