I've been trying to improve the quality and quantity of my channels so you've probably noticed my videos becoming longer :D! These DIY slime ideas were originally supposed to be separate videos but I decided to combine them together. This does mean that my workload has gone up quite a lot so I really appreciate all the support from you guys! Please continue liking, commenting and sharing to help Maqaroon and Cute Life Hacks stay in favour with RUclips's algorithm.
The first DIY slime here was a failed attempt at butter slime. I noticed that brand of glue make quite a big difference! The brand I used in the butter slime experiments scene was "grainier" so the final slime had a soft-serve ice cream texture (01:50 in the butter slime video). I used a different glue for the marshmallow slime shown here and it turned out smoother and glossier. So if you make or sell slimes, then definitely try experimenting with various brands and you might come up with cool results!
Glow in the dark slime was something I've also wanted to try out for so long and I was so excited at how it turned out!! I never realised that it was so easy to turn your phone into a blacklight and it works perfectly on neon ink. All of the glow in the dark DIYs I saw on RUclips require glow in the dark paint or a real UV blacklight (seriously, who has that home unless you're a hotel inspector or a RUclipsr who specifically makes videos about glow in the dark DIYs??)
I noticed lots of Steven Universe fans in my comments so Rose Quartz Fishbowl Slime is dedicated to y'all!! It's a nice twist to normal fishbowl slime and the gemstones are really soothing and relaxing to touch. Gemstone chips aren't actually expensive so you can even sell your DIY slimes containing real crystal pieces. The brands of clear glue that definitely work for DIY slime are Elmer's Glue (USA), Povinal (Asia), Pelikan Pelifix (Germany, Austria), AMOS (Korea, USA) and Pritt Craft Glue (UK). These are just the countries I know of, so they may well be sold in other places too! Trying searching each brand online and you'll be able to see if the deliver to you. Hi guys! There's a big discussion going on about people not wanting slime videos and getting salty that I'm happy to admit I make videos based on what gets a lot of views or revenue. There's a very bizarre accusation that if you make videos for money, then you "don't care" about your subscribers. That makes no sense at all, and I care tons about my subscribers but I ALSO care about my channel not dying (duh). The proof is in the fact that I'm always trying to improve my videos (editing, design, length) and I never troll my subscribers with copied/half-assed DIYs or fake clickbait thumbnails. I always read your comments and take time to reply to as many as I can, when so many other DIY channels literally NEVER thank or reply to their fans at all. If you look through any comment section, my answers are always long and detailed, trying to help the person's actual problem wherever possible.
For the record, and feel free to verify this yourself, the past 12 videos on this channel have been 1) Lip DIYs 2) Sewing 3) Slime 4) Plushie, 5) Slime 6) No-Sew 7) Clay 8) Food 9)Clay 10) Slime 11) Clay 12) Dollhouse+Felting. That's 25% slime and 85% other crafts but people are still complaining like this channel is posting 100% slime.
Fact is, it's much harder to please 600,000 people than 60,000 people. RUclipsrs are placed in a no-win situation because as soon as a channel gets bigger, there's always a vocal minority claiming they've sold out, changed their content, etc etc. If they actually listen to those people and continue making familiar content that doesn't attract a lot of views, then the channel eventually crashes you get loads of "So sad this channel is dying" comments. So I'm super grateful to all the people who are GENUINE supporters and even though they may not love a certain theme, they understand that it's necessary for the overall channel.
To those people who threaten with unsubscribing and using insults as a way of demanding certain videos...PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE! I don't want you here because I know your type. As mentioned above, you don't want to be proven wrong anyway because a quick check of my video list shows that there have actually been 85% non-slime videos but you still moan as if it's the only thing I post.
Lastly, it's a ridiculous and pitiful attitude to shame people for wanting to make money. Question: Do your parents have a job? Why do you think they actually go to work? Do you think they actually WANT to spend 40hrs of their life each week working for someone else if it weren't for the fact they love you and need to put food on the table? So when you ungratefully call people shallow, take a good look at your own life and those people who earned enough money for YOU to enjoy your privileges.

People might even get mad at you for saying stuff and making people realise, they probably think you're insulting them because all they see is what they want. Don't worry, your true fans love ALL your videos. But some others might only like 1 series, and if they're nice about it, that's fine! Thank you! So glad it was useful! I'm guessing you probably live in Europe as well? I was so happy to discover the contact lens method, and I actually think it works better than borax! Since the contact solution is always the same concentration, you know exactly how much to add if you stick to the same brand.

How to make slime for (really if u think about it) NOTHING!
Enough salt to cover the bottom of where you are mixing
Hand soap to fill about 2/3 of ur container
Then a squirt of toothpaste
It actually works!! I'll try to make a video on instructions!!

Great idea!! There's a powder that does that, it changes colors based on temperature. If they added it to slime, it might just work!

porlQ I know the heat changing one is possible. You have to add a color heat changing thermo powder thing to the slime to make it heat change, just like how you add glow in the dark stuff to glow in the dark slime. I know there is a video on it somewhere. It's really cool!

I've found that if you mix the baking soda and eye drops in a cup and wait for the baking soda to dissolve it makes the clear slime take way less time to turn completely clear.

I made it and it turned out really cool!! But the cornstarch made it smell really bad after less than 1 week 😐
Hey!
I thought you might enjoy my nutella slime recipe, I have never seen anyone make anything like it. So here goes:
5 Tbsp White Glue
4 Pinches baking soda
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbsp water
5 Tbsp contact lens solution
Instructions:
Mix glue and baking soda in a bowl until smooth. Add cornstarch and cocoa powder, and stir until sticky dough is almost formed. add water and stir until smooth. Add contact lens solution until slime forms and then knead. Add more contact lens solution as needed until you have a non-sticky slime. You can also substitute the contact lens soulution for borax and it seems to last longer.... You do you!

*Want the marshmallow slime but don't have glue?*
NO WORRIES!
I have came up with another recipe, but it isn't exactly slime...
*You will need*
• Cornstarch
• *White* or *Clear* soap, shampoo, etc.
1. Put as many cornstarch as you like in your bowl of choice.
2. Put in some soap, but less the amount of cornstarch you have added.
3. Mix until it becomes a firm, non-sticky dough
*if sticky, add more soap
*if it crumbles easily, add more cornstarch
_To get the white marshmallow color, it is important to use a white or clear soap/shampoo. However, you may use a different color._
Also, adding any oil (baby oil, cooking oil, etc.) will soften the slime and make it as it is oobleck slime, like the real marshmallow slime.
*I MADE A MISTAKE*
•if sticky, add more *cornstarch*
•if it crumbles easily, add more *soap*

I made the marshmallow fluff one a while back (it actually works) and here is a little tip I found:
When your marshmallow fluff becomes hard and more like sticky tack than slime, mix in some lotion. It makes it soft and stretchy. You're welcome.

I live in the United States and I have just recently learned about the health dangers of borax. I was itching to know what other methods there were to make super fluffy, and stretchy slime that borax can make. I watched this video expecting it to be borax but then I saw that you could use contact solution! Thank you soooo much. I can now feel safe making slime!
The contact solution has boric acid in it...which is just about the same as borax.
