I've watched this video countless times but today I watch with sadness of heart. Today, New Orleans lost a true legend; Mr. Brimmer was a godly man who truly impacted generations. Dr. King once said "the greatest among mankind is the person who serves", this was true of Mr. B. He was humble, kind, selfless and compassionate. You knew he cared and that made you care as well. Some hadn't experienced love until they came to Fortier and entered Room 400. I'm better for having marched for Mr. Brimmer, the life lessons he taught are timeless. Mr. B was more than just a band director, I can go on, but I'll end by saying much love, respect and rest in peace Mr. Elijah Brimmer.
