I never said they weren't expressing themselves. The Crows did a respectable, bang up job with their rendition of Sister. All I mean was it's almost always a treat when a band takes an amazing song and adds their own little magic to the arrangement. ♪
A cover is not necessarily a replica, the artist doing the cover needs to make it thiers, not just copy exactly what the original does. So if he words it differently that doesn't make it wrong.... just different.
Not sure why any band would take a song like this and not ant least try and make it their own. Don't really want to hear them sound like Dylan...as only he can do that.
