I also have to mention all the things I really love about the animation because, just like your music, it has all these small, sometimes hidden, things that reward a careful observer. I love how the graphics in the black frame on the back wall change with each song. I love the soft flicker in the pale blue raindrop wall light (once it turns on) and how your cat almost seems to blend unobtrusively into the sofa. I love the string of lights wrapped around the top rail. I love the subtle changes in the view outside from morning to night - the sky, the scrolling fluffy clouds, the rain, the flock of birds, the twinkling stars, the shooting star and the soft focus of the shifting city lights. I love the softly curling tendrils of steam that rise from the cup on the table (how I wish I had a cup of tea or coffee that stayed perma-hot for hours lol) and how the reflection of Casper the friendly human can be seen on the surface of the cup when the laptop screen is white and its light hits the cup. The things that really pique my interest are the blue and yellow poster (or painting or something else?) below the raindrop light that is half hidden by the couch and what seems to be a reflection of some sort on the right side of the record in the foreground (after it gets dark). It's like the letter E written in light on a spinning marquee or signboard or something. I keep wondering what it is and where it's being reflected from... the ceiling? Outside? Is it a clue to something more? Is it even a letter or is it a symbol? Hahaha... just my imagination and curiosity getting the better of me. But thank you for making music and animation that engages all my senses and my soul! When I am tired of the world, I will just chill to some Lonely in the Rain and imagine myself joining the cat on the couch!!! P.S. Although I love the distortion (is that even the correct term? I have no clue lol) you use in the chorus of City Lights (feat. EST), I watched your Live session (from home) and your non-distorted voice in City Lights just hits different for me. Then I ended up checking out your channel and listening to your music for hours that flowed into days. And secondly, dude! I thought that maybe the reflection on the record was the string of lights and then I was like... oh no, no way, it looks so different 🤔 and then my imagination ran wild and I thought up a range of Robert Langdonesque possibilities.
