Matt, Treasure the moment! You're in the process of becoming a person who Fender recognizes has developed a following and Fender wants to show their appreciation for your reliance on cool vintage Fender gear!
Keep playing what's close to your heart, it certainly seems to be paying off!
And to the folks at Fender, keep this guy on your radar, he's going places and you'll want to see Fender amps behind him rather than "those other amps!" Thanks for reaching out to him, as one of his followers, I appreciate the gesture!
@HALF MT lame
Thank you Paul! I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Fender in any way.. Always a dream of mine. ✌🏻
@@MatthewScottmusic Just keep doing what you're doing, Fender must like it!
Take care and be well!
@HALF MT I agree.....Those sharks do their sums and know full well it's the cheapest advertising they'll ever get. Which youtuber isn't going to turn down a freebie? Or any of us for that matter?
@Fuckyou let's be friends.
Definitely would like a full review. Would be cool to hear some Wah and TS with it too.
And a fuzz and a tele 😆
@@joebush9756 and a les paul or 335 . Are the humbuckers still clean enough (has the amp the headroom)
Shut up dude
Looks like I may do it!✌🏻
Beyond the great content, beyond the great playing, is Mathew. A humble person. I love this channel.
Thank you, Chris! Not possible without you!
My medal for humility was taken away. I wore it all the time.
Yes! Nice one mate 🙌🏻
it is always a joy to see my favorite artists interacting with each other. cheers!
Thanks Chris! ✌🏻
@Czesiek P. I see you’ve understood the basic principles of marketing 🙌🏻
yeah, that thing sounds killer. Anything you play sounds great, but this amp is really working for you.
Thanks very much Rhett.. ✌🏻🤘🏻 that means a lot to me!
nice to see you watch/support this guy, Rhett, his enthusiasm is infectious!
Are we gonna get a collab with you two? 🤘🎸😁
trust me if it is a Fender amp it will give you plenty of problems
@@thingy2780 Sorry but I've been playing through Fender amps for years on the road and in the studio and they have never been trouble. Let me guess, you are playing your Firefly guitar through your Silvertone amp....now that's reliable.
I love this. It’s what Fender’s always done, reached out to artists and ask “hey, how does this sound?”
A full review would be awesome
loved this version of “mirrors”
Thanks, you my hear some more of that tune in the next few months! 🙂 ✌🏻
@@MatthewScottmusic i’m excited for the album to come out!
How cools that bro ! Your hard work and dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. Well deserved !
Thanks Ben! ✌🏻
Too bad the current political administration is trying to do away with merit based advancement and wants to make everyone the same, regardless what they want or how motivated they are.
@@midi510 god just shut the fuck up no one gives a fuck about your stupid political opinion and no one asked.
@kev butterworth it doesn’t really matter if he’s right, this isn’t the time or place for that kind of stuff. Save it for actual political conversations.
Awesome to see you getting this recognition from companies. Waiting on your album.
I'll be in Austin making the record in June. Updates to come!
You’ll be on my playlist immediately!!
I second the humble. I enjoy this channel very much. The passion that Matthew has for music plus the knowledge and skills keeps me coming back. Thank you
Saw you playing this guitar. So today I went down to my local music shop Long and McQuade. And I bought a custom shop relic Stratocaster in faded sonic blue. Absolutely in love with it!
Nice! I got a '68 custom princeton reverb a few years back and really like it. I just bought the '68 vibro champ reverb... sweet little thing
You are living the dream man, wish fender would send me stuff lol. So happy you’re getting the attention, you deserve it!
This has become my favorite guitar youtube channel for a while now, always focused on (awesome) gear and to me he’s got the best playing out there too. Great content, cheers from France!
Really well deserved and a big step. I think you create a lot of positive vibes and brand awareness with your love for vintage instruments, helping these brands.
Sounds fantastic man. Yes, do a full run down on this bad boy. I love Fender Amps. Congratulations on being recognized by them. What an honor.
Sounds really close to my 78 Silver-face Deluxe Reverb. All the tonal characteristics of vintage with modern circuitry put the sound over the top! I just kicked mine on after hearing you play! Thanks🎶❤️🎸
Congratulations Mathew! You definitely deserve it and I have a feeling much more is coming your way.
I could really relate to that nostalgic new amp smell, taking you back to 16 years old in your bedroom unpacking your first proper amp. There's something magic and vivid about those memories of first guitars.
Please please PLEASE DO A FULL REVIEW VIDEO OF THIS AMP! IT SOUNDS AMAZING AND I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR WHAT ALL YOU CAN MAKE IT DO!!! I'D LOVE TO HEAR YOUR FIREBIRDS THROUGH THIS AMP! KEEP ROCKING MY BROTHER!!!
Yes! The Firebirds & that 58 LP!
Finally. I was wondering when they will recognise you. They seem to be a very nice and supportive company for young musicians. I follow them on IG etc. I like the sound. 🙂
Agreed, Fender is great about supporting their fans and artists
I'm happy to see Fender working with many new artists out there!✌🏻
Reminds me of one of the best TV intro songs ever. "Moving on up to the Eastside gonna get myself a peice of the pie" Fender makes good pie.
Dude this is so sick. I’m stoked you are reaping the rewards of your hard work and passion!
I'll be honest, I didn't expect the beautiful breakup and tone you managed to pull out of this amp. It sounds amazing. Congrats to you, and would really like a deeper dive on this amp.
It seems like it does break up a bit easier!
@@MatthewScottmusic I ended up getting one of these. A/B'd it against my Princeton all day, and ended up (dare I say it...) liking it more than the Princeton. I love this amp. I'm going to daisy chain it to my 68 Super Reverb and see how it goes.
Best guitar youtuber on this site. nothing cheesy about this page. Great playing and great tone.
This channel got me going down the vintage gear and tone rabbit hole a few years ago and I have yet to dig my way out of it, but I’m not complaining lol.
Do you really need to ask? of course brother Matthew, we would love to see an in depth video! That amp sounds pretty good! Thanks for sharing!
you deserve this...your content has been amazing! Congratulations on this recognition. Keep us ROCKIN' Matt! You are awesome and I am older than your Strat
Matthew, you are one of my favorite guitarists! You are among guys like Philip Sayce, John Mayer, SRV, Jimi... You're a living legend! I really appreciate you sharing with us in such a humble way! Your respect for gear and history is heartwarming. Just want to say thanks.
Michael, thank you so much for saying that. Those are my heroes too! I hope to just keep blues and rock music alive! ✌🏻👍🏻🎸
Awesome review, and congrats on getting an endorsement from your favorite guitar brand. You've come a long way, my dude! So happy for you.
Dang, jackpot! Yea you need to do a full review. Let’s take a look inside that bad boy.
Once the speaker has time to edit in its going to sound even better than it does out of the box! I think they look absolutely fantastic and truly vintage looking
Yeah, you DEFINITELY need to do a full-on review/demo...
Very cool of Fender to send it to you, congrats!
Yes do a full demo!! I could listen to you play all day!!
You totally deserve the recognition. Please, do a full review. I'm in the market for a new Fender amp. So, it would be great to see what this thing can do.
If you're going to spend over a grand check out Tone King amps They are like the best amps Fender never made AND come with a killer attenuator
Thanks for the suggestion. Also, looking at Magnatones.
" Cool Brother!" Congrats Matthew!
Thanks Fender! Yes, Give her a full blown workout! Thanks for sharing and Be Well All!
Thank you Fender. Good for you Matthew. My original '65 Pro Reverb weighs 50 lbs.! I love it. Love this channel.
Definitely yes, to the full review video. This is one of my top 2 favorite channels. Keep the videos coming and the old stuff alive and playing!
Of course we want to see a full review, your toughts on modern gear will be very usefull for us - ordinary mortals.
Fender CEO is Andy Moony, from Whitburn, West Lothian in Scotland, just miles from my home. I have met him and we played at an audition many decades ago! Very nice, genuine guy!
Matthew your success is much deserved. Very happy for you! Hell yes we want a full review with a lot of playing. ✌️
Awesome! Glad to see you getting some swag from the big guys! Hope ya get alot more in the future!
Bro, I just listened to one of your live performances, I gotta say, you are one hell of a blues guitarist. You have the vibe of B.B.King, Muddy Waters, throw a little Leadbelly, and a touch of SRV. You aren't old enough to play like that brother. I love to listen to you play. I'm a drummer. I love blues music. I can't play any due to health problems. Please keep the videos coming. PEACE ✌
Love that little touch of Mirrors you put in there. Amazing song, amazing video, amazing music. Keep doing what you do man!
congratulations Matt, I've enjoyed your channel for years.
I really like to see that Fender is involved with channels like yours.
That amp is perfectly demoed by a great player like you, who is known for using tube amps and old Fender gear.
Great demo!
The blessing keep coming to you man! Congrats on all the love from Fender! Hopefully there's more to come! Definitely need to hear some Esquire and Les Paul Special in the next video!
Please do a full review of this new amp. I love to hear you play. Thank you for taking us on the Journey with you.
yo congrats man!! well deserved
I was watching the refret job you did on the 57, 58 Mary Kay strat. You hammered the frets out the side. Everyone else that does regrets pulls the frets out the top. Then there is alot of tear out. I think the way you did it looks neater. I seen no tear out. Armature maybe, you did a great job. That guitar sounds fantastic. PEACE ✌
excellent, the full review is a must!!! I have a 1978 Pro reverb, different yet amazing as well, might be interested in the new one! Thanks and congrats!
Full demo is in order. Sweet sounding amp. Enjoy your playing.
I took your advice from a previous video about taking a chance on a repaired guitar to get into something you couldn’t otherwise afford. Bought a custom shop 339 with headstock break, best Gibson I’ve ever played. Thank you.
Congrats on the endorsement. You deserve it, if you stay focused on what you want to do for long enough, recognition always comes. So well done Matt.
Amp sounds great!😉👍🏻
Like a nice warm bath!
Reminds me of the sound in my head that I got away from and went Vox....... you need both!
Nice! And yes please, do a deeper dive into this new piece of kit!
Yes, please do an in-depth review of the amp!!!
Yes please. Full review. Love your channel
So cool man! I always appreciate your videos - you're a fantastic player and also obviously just a humble, kind-hearted dude. I'm glad to see your success.
Yes yes and yes to in depth . What a great occasion for you to be recognised like this. I think it's a nice head nod to you from Fender. I am still jealous of the countless hours you have practiced to get to this level as I, just today took my 7th guitar lesson. I don't have that many hours, because ...Old lol but I will continue to learn and grow as long as I can and listening to players like you that do more than "just" play is a big part of my motivation.
Man, you can play! It was like little “tone fairies” were dancing on every note. Everything sounded alive. 🙏
Congratulations my friend. Sounds great as always. All the best.
Good job of mating the output transformer to the speaker. Fender did their homework on this amp. In a few months, it will sound even better. Very soulful playing, Matt.
Im happy for you Matthew, all the way from ol´Sweden! Would love to see you stand in for Lemmo at Norms sometime...or all-time !
Awesome playing. Congrats on getting noticed by Fender for your appreciation of their gear.
That is, by far, the shiniest thing I've ever seen on your channel. By all means, do the full review. I'd like to hear a Firebird through that.
I could hear your fine improvisations for hours...So relaxing.
A review would be very appreciated!
Love your attitude and playing, keep on growing my man!
This proves that tone is in the hands. Sounds like your trademark tone even on the new amp. You rule! Glad Fender recognized you. We need to hear your music- I hope that comes out soon!!!
Its gotta be a good feeling to know that the big guys are watching! Let's hope its the first of many!
Definitely want a more in depth video and hear you playing it more !
Most certainly do a full on review! It's nice to see you play something from this century. 😁 Nice little rendition of Mirrors hidden in there...✌️
Fender was smart to send you an amp. I'd like to see a full review, and I think Fender would appreciate that as well. Being someone who really understands what their vintage amps should sound like, and how to dial in those sounds properly, you're the perfect person to put the amp through its paces. Fender will benefit by a full and honest review, as will all the potential customers looking to get that vintage sound at an affordable price. Looking forward to hearing the amp cranked. Thanks
That's great! Of course I want to see a full demo and review!
Yes! More on the amp, please. Looks like my next purchase so far! Aside from that, well done man...so cool that Fender reached out to you. Very well deserved i.m.o...
I think it sounds fantastic. Very nice gesture from Fender. Please do a full demo for us!
Nice one 👍🏻. You’re a good dude and good things will happen for you. Congrats brother.
Yes please Matt, I’d like to hear more from that amp & you ... classic clean Fender tone so far
Really like your channel Matthew! 😎
That’s so cool that Fender reached out to you.
I’m always looking forward to see more great things from you too, as you have a pleasant way of coming across, no matter what the subject at hand is, and your playing is tasty!
Great stuff Matthew and thanks for the video, great playing, and content! ✌🏼
That's very exciting man really happy for you and thanks for sharing the experience!
congrats. please do the full review
finally some recognition dude!!
hopefully they'll send you more stuff
Congrats my man!
Thanks Nik!
I have no idea why, but the noodling at 4:03 has me tearing up for some reason. Might just be because of the shit life is putting me through at the moment, but... yeah.
Yes--you've got to be thrilled--glad to see that hard work is rewarded!
Matthew!! Need a full review. that thing sounds great! You deserve it.
You definitely worth it, Mathew. Congratulations from Spain!!
And yes!!, do a complete review@
Was waiting for you to shake the pine. Very nice Fender sent the amp your way. Sounds like it has depth.
You're a new artist to me and after this I plan on pursuing your music. Love your style.
Congrats man !! What an achievement ;) Can't wait to have a deeper review of this amp, was looking forward these new releases
Breaks up beautifully, love it. Full review would be tight! Great playing as always
Hey guys- It’s mid range Matt with the 59 strat! Yo little bro! It’s good to hear you play again man ill never get tired of that! I’m so glad to see fender showing you some love. I can’t think of a bigger fender guy . I heard about the August album. Congrats man I can’t wait to hear it! I got to go ill catch you on the next.😎🤘✌️🦋
I’ve used Fender amps for just over 50 years, sometimes moving away to other amps for short periods but I’ve always returned to them. Am sure I’m not alone.
Great tone and reliability. Bought a ‘68 Custom Deluxe Reverb soon after they came out, gigged it the day I bought it and for the years that followed, has never let me down.
This new Pro Reverb is quite a package, 40 watts, smaller and lighter than my 68 Custom and 65 DRRI I could be tempted 😉
Can we have a longer review on this amp please Matthew
Congrats on Fender reaching out to you! One complaint - you teased us with your tasty licks, I want more please! 🎸🎸🎸
Sounds good. Hell I just got the Fender Mustang GTX50 and take it with me while I’m on the road working. Great amp, cool app that goes with it and it gives me all the sounds and options I need. Can even get it to mimic old reverbs and such. Fender’s bringing it.
That's always gonna be yes to see you play all of your guitars.
Omg! I’ve had my ‘68 Pro Reverb near forty years now. Great to see a clean one!
For sure. Do a full review of it. When I am deciding what amps to buy I always do a search for the name of the amp on youtube to get opinions and listen to some playing through it.
Sounds so heavenly bro.. congrats!
