Nice set up, .. Im not sure that the stoves hopper does not allow gas or fumes to sneak back through it. Please double check that, through Manufacturer or someone with expertise. I always make sure the lids or hatch on my hoppers are closed tight. Just double-check on that. Thank you.
Nice setup for the coal pipe it’s giving me ideas I’ve had harmans in my parents garage and their house they are great I have a stocker furnace in my basement and might make a pipe to load the hopper similar to yours thanks for the video
@@madmikesgarage4861 I just watched that video actually. the stove I'm buying had the motor replaced last year. I wonder if it was the bearings. I just ordered one of those electric charcoal starters too, thanks for the tips.
@@madmikesgarage4861 the combustion fan do you rescrict the glow. the stoves come with a plate but if you bought used might not have. i cant image you keep it open the whole time
I have a harman sf-150. It burns nut coal. I have about 16’ of duct work venting it into my living room. I have an in-line fan that moves in around 220 cfm. Do you have your central air circulating all the time or on a thermostat? I almost vented mine like you did but felt the heat would get trapped in my system if the fan was not always on
How many square feet are you heating? Did you have to run piping to get the heat upstairs? Are you have enough convection without it? Also, I hope you bought CO2 alarms coal is king but the price doubled this year

You're welcome!
love that comment. shit, it's getting real for real...
I'm about to buy one, tomorrow. I'm wondering what I can do to make the motors quieter
You can get oil on the bearings. It'll quiet them down. I have a video about replacing the bearings on a feed motor. Germs
