Great video. This is exactly why I built these tools: to provide a quicker, more intuitive way to adjust saturation, exposure, or skin tones directly in the image itself, instead of looking at abstract tools like the vectorscope or waveform. As you noted, it helps develop a better feel for different scenes over time.
@@JT_Film yeah it is a great tools to use on your timeline level. Check sat, skin, exposure in lightbox on resolve and see if your levels are consistent across all images. Let me know how this workflow works out for you!

Great tutorial! Got me thinking of finally investing in some dctl to upgrade my my grading. How did the last node "rainbow" come about? Is it another type of dctl not mentioned on here?
Okay, Thanks for the tutorial, very helpful! But what I really wanted to say is that you look just like Zack Morris (SaveByTheBell) if he was in his 50s reminiscing on the good old days. Can you please do a short film of an unhinged Zack, older, broke, not popular, talking to himself or calling his old friends (with an old school analog phone), and getting progressively upset as they dont want to talk or dont have time? I know, big ask, but I think it will A-) Get you tons of views/subs and B-) it will showcase your camera skill, and you already look like him so you dont even need to hire an actor! I know crazy comment, but please consider :)
