Okinawa is probably one of the few places in Japan where you can expect to walk into a random shop and have a conversation in English. She would be better off writing in Chinese. Okinawa is where the US base is located and so they have direct contact with native English speakers on a regular basis. As for the rest of Japan, they do study English in school but barely use it. To be fair, Americans are no better at learning a second language, unless they are the children of immigrants. I also have worked in factories with equipment from all over the world. While Japanese made machines are high quality, their manuals tend to have the worst translations. I try not to disclose too much on the internet, but I will say that I am closer in age to XYYZ than to WY. I am not like younger fans that are infatuated with any of the members of SNH48. Rather, I just find them entertaining. And I am fascinated by different cultures and countries, so following SNH48 has been like a small window into Chinese pop culture.

I also like to learn about other cultures and countries. It is one of the reasons I have gotten sucked into SNH48. It is like a small window into Chinese pop culture and even some Vietnamese culture since most of the SNH48 fan base on RUclips seems to be Vietnamese. I go through phases as to which culture/country I get into.
