I think the volume of the male vocals was consciously lowered to enhance the female vocalist's voice. Amy Lee will be singing with us again on the encore song of the same concert.
Dear Rana, this was amazing! What a great collaboration and rendition of this iconic song! And I love your reaction, so good to see you back being Giddy Kitty again :-)❤️
Love Wagakki. Covers are nice, but their original work, largely based upon ancient Japanese folk music, is where they shine. Their best song is A Letter With No Name. It builds and you get to hear all the instruments finding their space. ruclips.net/video/-RNp2EoNB1Y/видео.html
Hey Rana - I'm very pleased to see you doing well (as well as you can, anyway). Wagakki Band is very cool and impressive. Sadly, they announced that at the end of this, their 10th year, they are taking a hiatus. But there's still plenty for you to explore! Rock on! 🤘😎👍
Excellent performance! Wagakki Band is all about the fusion between traditional instruments and rock/metal. If you want a fantastic introduction performance, then I can recommend "Kyoukasuigetsu" + "Tsukini sakebuyoru": ruclips.net/video/aWlMc-pbDc8/видео.html It features all aspects of the band. The song mentioned by another commenter, "A Letter With No Name", is also great.
I heard this song live at this concert. It was the first time I'd heard it, and it really gave me goosebumps. It was so amazing that I got scared, and while they were playing, I just wanted it to end quickly. But as the song neared the end, I found myself wanting it to go on and on, forever. Can you understand that?
My alltime, favorite., bestest, most wonderfully beautifully intelligent gorgeous reactor in this world and any other in the Universe. Plus Rana you look so damn cute!! 😍 ❤
If you've never seen them before you should react to their original hit: ruclips.net/video/K_xTet06SUo/видео.html And/or the version with Amy Lee: ruclips.net/video/FFK4AK8pHj8/видео.html
Amy never wanted the male vocal in the song. That's probably why the make vocal was dialled down in the mix for this, because Machi actually has a great voice and could totally slay it. The studio forced them to use the male vocalist in the original album version. It was not someone they new. He just showed up, did the vocal and left. In later versions of the song on subsequent albums, there is no male vocal because that's how Amy originally wanted it. Amy is very clear about this on the cover notes of those albums.
It is just nonsense to compare Machiya the male singer of Wagakki Band with the male singer in the original Bring Me To Life. Machiya was not a hired singer for this piece, he is a original member of Wagakki Band, He is a guitarist and a highly skilled beast on guitar, and just check following songs if Paul McCoy can perform like Machiya does. ruclips.net/video/V2jeCJ-uzUc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/aGn4lHBcKuI/видео.html If somebody complains Paul McCoy doesn't sing like Machiya or doesn't play guitar like Machiya does then he is a total moron. They both are just different musicians from each other.

It's wonderful to see you reacting again Miss Kitty. Smiles can be hard to come by these days and yours have been sorely missed.
