Carribean Lobo's music brings back childhood memories, specially of our very small house where we lived as a big joint family!

I've been looking so long for a sixties medley that my dad used to listen when I was a child, but I couldn't find it.
I remember the list of songs in it, may I just forgot one of them but here is:
Now that I've found you - The Foundations
Tina - Gary Lewis and the Playboys
    Bus stop - The hollies
Hurting inside - The Dave Clark Five
Black is black - Los Bravos
Sloop John B - The beach boys
    Downtown - Petula Clark
Monday monday - Mamas and papas
Don't worry baby - The beachboys
There's a kind of hush - Hermans Hermit
    You're sixteen - Johnny Burnette
I'll be yours my love - Dave Clark Five
The joker went wild - Brian Hyland
Rhythm of the rain - The cascades
Just one look - The hollies
I can't make up my mind - The zombies
More today than yesterday - The spiral starecase
Hang on sloopy - The McCoys
See you in september - The happenings
When summer is gone - Gary Lewis and the playboys
I hope someone could help me🙏🏻

This was our wake up song. My old man used to blast this song on the boombox that it would mess up whatever it was we were still dreaming and wake us up kids! That's torture! 😂

Wasn't most of track 1 written and sang by Harry Bellafonte ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤗🤗☀️☀️☀️☀️

    • @saviinmusic379

Actually most of the songs are Jamaican traditional songs dating back to the early 1950s. Harry covered these tracks in his style and popularized it. Imrich Lobo simply made a disco version medley of all the tracks. I personally prefer Lobos version. Harry is a great artist too. 🙂👍
