Validation is simply the act of letting someone else know his or her experience is real. As parents, our role as protectors and teachers is essential to helping our children grow into successful, happy, and healthy individuals. Communication and understanding are the basic qualities that we all need to build meaningful relationships and it is important that these qualities are inculcated in kids from childhood so that they imbibe values of respect and consideration for others.
