Resin geode coasters
I used Dalchem Crystal Clear resin to make these geode coasters. I also used glitters from LeRez, Colour Passion and Art Tree Creations.

These turned out so cute :-) And I am really glad to see some ads! Resin is so prohibitively expensive, hopefully, they can help offset a little bit of the cost. I for one will be letting them play through and hope to see more. You give us so much of your time and effort to bring us these videos every day, it's the least we loyal fans can do. The front of the piece tends to be the side touching the mold, hence why the edges are smoothers and more rounded off and the shine of the mold gives the front of the piece a nice shiny finish.
If you pull the fluffy end nib out of silver pen you have a fresh end to use. At least the silver pen i use does. Its worth a try for you. Hope it works for you too.. Nice Job Julie❣

The white tree you described is exactly what I have and it is so beautiful. In addition to the blue, I added purple as you suggested to your daughter, as well as peacock colors in teal and turquoise. I have lots of peacock ornaments and feathers, along with a lot of silver ones that are special, and some extra white birds with feathers thrown in too. Any other ornaments of the same color scheme, and also special one of a kind ornaments too. My other family tree is the one that has only ornaments I made with my children every year as they were growing up, all on a real green tree in our den. She will love the ornaments you are making for her and she will cherish them forever. Merry Christmas ❤️
My first Christmas tree in our first home was white. I had to replace the tree a couple years ago. Because it is a fake tree and I replaced it with another white tree. The other decorations that were given to me with the tree where blue lights and blue bobbles. Over the years I have changed out the lights to multicolor lights but still keep the blue bubbles.

Thinking of bringing out some of my own, old ornaments to make 3-d molds! I saw some plastic icicles the other day at the store, and the idea hit me that I can make my own out of what I have. I'm alone, so I don't put up a tree anymore. The cats would destroy it. But I still enjoy seeing the pretties, and leaving some for those who come after I'm gone. Beautiful job! I'd love to see how to repair molds!

Lovely anniversary story. I can also a identify with your Dad. I too just turned 80! My favorites are the bell (love the little sequins) and the ornament. Fun video. Just came through a hurricane - Eta 🌀. Lots of rain but wind was not too bad, at least in my area.
