One of the best black travelers in the RUclips streets. Intelligent, Charismatic, Cultured, Cool. Enjoyed the interaction with the locals. Keep it up! 👍🏿

I'm working in Angola just now, living just round the corner from fortaleza shopping centre that your conducting the interview in, im Scottish and I love coming to Luanda, Great people
Great. Welcome to the channel. Have you learned Portuguese?
One of the most well rounded brothers in the game. Loved the video. Can’t wait to see more
Respect
Angola is in Southwest Africa; But the country is so big that the northeast part (Lunda) is in central Africa.
Outstanding. Bem-vindo ao canal. Kindly subscribe and share to support us
It's South Central Africa.
@@mzerk9324 how can it be central if the country is literally on the west side of the continent?
@@JayFocused waiting for you to explore Cazenga. That’s where I grew up, I’ll be watching from Phoenix, AZ. Stay blessed brother!
@Kikas_clemente nice
10:19 When you said "oil" the first thing that came to her mind is cooking oil because it's very close to the portuguese word "óleo", that's why she was like what the f... is this dude talking about? 😅🤣😂
🤣🤣🤣 makes sense
Thank you for putting my country on the Angola Map, may God bless you❤
My pleasure 😎
Thank You. I enjoyed this video
Great! Kindly subscribe and share. Part II is coming next
Speaking Portuguese and English fluently gives me a privileged spot in the comment's section...that I'm really loving being at.
The way people are mixing both languages, using false friends and life perspectives based and biased in extremely different life experiences...
I'm loving the experience.❤😅
👍🏽
Jay, This is the best video that I have seen so far. I have a weakness for the Portuguese language; therefore, whenever it is being spoken, I am excited.
It looks like you are a french speaker, based on your name. Welcome to the channel
Subscribed. I got big plans for Angola. Thank you for this, needed this perspective
Glad it was helpful!
Ayeee 🔥 great job 👏🏿
Thanks for the support
Great interview

Many people disagree with my comment before this follow-up vlog that Luanda is cleaner and modern than some South Africa's cities like Cucumber(former Port Elizabeth). Please, let's compare it with Port Elizabeth. Luanda's buildings are more modern and glittering compared with those colonial brownish archaic concrete and rustic houses in Cucumber( that is how it is pronounced, please) city. Don't blame me because I can't write the word.
I am going to definitely visit Angola in the future and not that overrated giant that screams a lot in Southern African region. Go Angola!
Thank you, sir.
Thanks for watching
I think many who disagree didn't travel as much to point out a fair comparison.
Meeting other countries makes you have a different perspective of your own.
You know angolans in general like to speak, as if we own the true, even about facts that are quite easy to prove differently.
The most f*** up is that it starts with the teachers at schools. 😅😅😅😅😅
Nigeria is the only country that calls themselves a giant ant they are in the West.
@@zeeqq105 Where do you expect the giant to be? This your post is very funny. Hehehe...
Whats up bruh im from Alabama ill be coming to Angola soon keep pushing bro road to 100k

I agree that Spain is a good Country to live in but the Spanish are upset with the excess of tourists there.
I'm also Angolan and I've been following your videos.
have fun
Yes, Spain has some beautiful islands but in summer the tourism is too much
woow such a good vibe "

My country 🇦🇴
Right on. Welcome to the channel
Great content man thanks for putting Angola on the Map, you should explore the municipality of Belas you'll enjoy it a lot, I can be your tour guide my brother.
Are you from Belas?
Yes I am brother
Damn Jay, you really surprised me with your answers….Spain I GUESS isn’t super surprising but I haven’t seen your content from there. But Rwanda??? Really? Wow…most of the other content creators who have been to a lot of places in Africa say it’s hard to live in Rwanda because there’s not much to do and a lot of inconveniences buying things. Also apparently there’s a lot of paranoia from the people being scared of being turned in for saying negative things about the dictator. Very interesting selection.
Sure..no place is perfect. Neither Spain or Rwanda. Both have many things I don't like but many things I do like.
Last sensus was 30 million people.
Right on
It would be nice giving a interview content for your channel, and give hint on the subscribers about the wonders of this beautiful country

"We don't speak about oil. It's hard to speak about oil...about gold, about diamonds..." 💔
She is such a joyful person.
🤣🤣🤣 wait for part 2
🤣🤣🤣What, does she do a personality change in part 2? *kidding*
Sure thing.
@lebo5281 😂😂 you'll see
Interesting!!!!!!

Nice one
obrigado
This girl probably thinks there is war in Rwanda 🤣
hahaha
Angola is twice as big as Spain…
I was referring to the population. Thanks for watching
She reminds me of Tracy Chapman
Thanks for watching
I mean no ofence but Isvania is not well informed enough give you acurate information about angola. Most of fairly educated Angolans know how african american came to exist in America. She doesn't even know that Angola is located on southwest africa. It makes me sad. Thanks for another great video. Keep going brother.
Understood
No próximo episódio gostaria de participar...estou amarrado nos conteúdos Jay! Nem que for live.
If it's possible I will let you know
Love love Rwanda

We have around 35 million.
There's a census being done as we speak that will give us a more accurate number.

It is about 40 millions .

I'm from Angola.
And i think that girl has poor communication skills, or it's just the language barrier.
It could be a factor. Welcome to the channel. Kindly subscribe to support us
She is just not very knowledgeable about her own country and Africa in general. She had to google Angola population, and her first estimate was way off
It's obvious that she's not fluent in English, which is normal for a non-English speaker.
Right
Where did you get this Angolan who doesn't know about her country? Angola has more than 32 million population and 4 million population outside the country. Angola is in SADC, so she is the Southern African country.
Thanks for watching. Welcome to the channel
😂
You may not have intended for this particular byproduct, however in my humble opinion you are ( for the most part) a good representation of American born black men to people who have never encountered American born black men before...... 👍
Thanks. I appreciate it. Are you from the States?
@@JayFocused yes sir I am.... keep up the good work.....
The interview was better with english translation.we learn english in school but she speaks none of it
You think her English is below average in Angola?
Sort off,but her charisma payed off…and made it a wonderful interview 👌🏾
Or conversation,i should say
Thanks, Part 2 is coming up!!
Why the talk was not conducted in Portugues itself, since as far as I can see, the host of channel speaks better and understand many words in Portugues. So this is my first time watching your videos and have described.
I don't think she did a bad job
@@JayFocused yes she didnt of course, did her best.
Angola🇦🇴, officially the Republic of Angola, is a country on the west coast of Africa, whose main territory is limited to the north and northeast by the Democratic Republic of Congo, to the east by Zambia, to the south by Namibia and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean. it also includes the exclave of Cabinda, through which it borders the Republic of Congo to the north. In addition to the neighbors already mentioned, Angola is the closest country to the British colony of Saint Helena.
Angola official language is Portuguese, but there's
Regional, local or national languages, and they are:
Quicongo, Chócue, Umbundo, Quimbundo, Ganguela and Cuanhama. Since 2014 Angola use to estimated
25,789,024 inhabitants according to Census 2014, in the current year there will be the 2024 Census to update this data accuratel.
It is a beautiful country with humble people ❤️
Do you speak any national languages?
@@JayFocused I speak criolo from Cabo-verde, a few words from Kimbundo and Lingala. Besides others languages
You live in Praia?
@@JayFocused not I'm in Luanda
@@JayFocused did you Lear about the history?
as an angolan living in luanda i would say to the american people your american dream comes at cost of milhoes of people dreams ,why do we have to have our economies based on ur currency american dolars ,why does your government american making deals with african corrupt governments knowing that this is one of the main reason why so many young african emigrate to europe and america ,then your government turns around and promises you that will figth emigration ? do you have any idea of how hard it is to leave our country our love ones behind ? of all of the people that loses their lives either by sea or land trying to flea poverty enemployement hunger desease you are to blame also ,stop acepting stolen money into ur banks ,all the mineral resources we have , have more meaning to you then to us for us it comes as a maldição .
Thanks for watching
Angola is Southwest Africa, point, blank, period. However, this girl is a disappointment... She lives in Angola but doesn't know much about our country. At this moment, our population is around 30-32 million, I wished that a person you have interviewed, would be more knowledgeable in general, but I'm not going to lie for a person that says that doesn't speak English, she's doing pretty good job. That is true, what he said. Yes, Angola is known for oil and its natural resources, I don't know what this little girl talking about...
Thanks for watching. She tried her best
She's charming...
Thanks. Kindly subscribe and set notifications to 'all' and you won't miss part II
Angola is Southern Africa
I hear you. Are you Angolan?
Angola has 35m people. This girl doesn't know her country or she's having trouble with English.
Indeed. Thanks for watching. Are you in Angola?
i think she struggled with english, meaybe she would speak better in her native language

Angola has 35 millions plus inhabitants not 50. I have just googled it.

Are you Black American or a foreign national in America?
My great grandparents on both sides are black Americans. And you?
How come she doesn’t know African Americans came from Africa? Angolan slaves were sent to the Americas! As an Angolan I’m so disappointed with her luck of knowledge when asked basic questions!!!!
I hear you. You seem knowledgeable. Part II is coming soon
@@joaoamaral7818 Most Blacks in the Southern United States were taken as captives from present day places like Congo, Cameroon, Angola, Mozambique, Madagascar, and Gabon. Before borders, they were kingdoms.
The Kingdom of Kongo was the largest in the area. In New Orleans Louisiana, U.S., there is Congo Square. Congo Square is tribute to the area where the black folks went for celebration and dance. Dancing the Bambula.
A larger portion of Blacks from Angola and Kingdom of Kongo were even taken to Brazil, Colombia and other parts of the Americas and Caribbean. Most black people were dropped in Latin America and the Caribbean than the U.S.
Perhaps, the young lady didn't know much about the transatlantic. Knowledge is power. Makes us more informed about our history.
African Slaves came from all over the west and central Africa. Some even came from east.
Right
Angpla would be a very good place to live if there was no corruption, which is still far from being a reality.

Mesmo assim é um bom lugar para se viver em relação à outros países que eu conheço

Verdade
The first Africans to set foot in America in the British colonies were from Angola in 1619. I won’t attempt to spell the ethnic group. Lmao. I can’t believe you choice Spain.
