- Hello again everyone! June has passed quickly for us here, but so has our progress over the course of the month. We can’t wait to tell you about what we’ve been up to, so let’s get to it.

Kentrosaurus TLC
With the Struthiomimus TLC released, we have next turned our attention to Kentrosaurus, the next dinosaur on our list for a TLC update!
Aggressive Critters
While dinosaurs are the main focus of Path of Titans, we also know it's important to feel as though your dinosaur is part of an immersive and interactive ecosystem within the game. With this in mind, we have been hard at work revisiting our critter system and improving it in many ways!
Territorial Burrows
These burrows are similar to the ones currently found on Gondwa and Panjura. However, their inhabitants are territorial and if they detect a small creature coming too close to their burrow they will automatically dig up to the surface to chase them away, biting and growling.
Dynamically Spawning Critters
With a dynamically spawning critter system, critters will now appear across the map and wander around, no burrow-bothering needed!
Dynamosuchus
Along with dynamically spawning aggressive critter AI, we are also introducing a brand new critter, the Dynamosuchus! This pseudosuchian was first described in 2020, and was found to have lived in Argentina during the mid-Triassic.
Wadiasaurus
While Dynamosuchus is nearing completion, we are still eager to continue adding more critter variety to Path of Titans! The next critter we are working on is the Wadiasaurus, a large dycnodont discovered in India that lived during the early-Triassic.
Optimizations
Alongside the optimizations to help with large groups of players that we covered in last month’s blog, we have also made further improvements to the dinosaur ragdoll and physics.

A little criticism about the ai critters. Ai critters should have a proper health pool instead of taking a specific number of attacks to be killed and critters should be affected by status effects like bleed,bone break,venom,etc. This will add to the immersion and will allow new players or players trying out different species of dinos to test out their abilities more effectively.

I agree it's crazy that a full grown rex needs to full on bite a critter 3 times
A small flying pterosaur AI Critter would be amazing. Agressive to rhampho but prey for bigger flyers like thalassodromeus and hatz
Dimorphidon would could be the perfect critter for that.

I guess the new directional attack for Kentrosaurus was a unexpected foreshadowing that Kentro gets its TLC update next.
Love the way the critters works and the new critters shown and coming here.
Still waiting for the switch version to gets caught up to its update with the rest of the platforms.

I absolutely love the new critters design and mechanics, although I will admit, Dynamosuchus’s addition does make me wish we’d get one of its relatives playable in the future. Maybe as a mod
Mods of them are confirmed, primordial tyrants i think has one in the eventual works, but id love dynamo as an official playable, that skin is so cool!
There's actually a similar thing it's a really close relative of this and it's basically looks just like this but 10x bigger I actually been hoping for a few months that they will add it as a officel creature

I am unbelievably hyped!! Thank YOU SO MUCH PATH OF TITANS TEAM! This game is seriously a childhood dream come true for me. I'm in my 30s now but I can remember spending hours on dumb overhead pixelated dinosaur rpgs in the 90s/early 2000s.
Seriously guys, this game makes me so happy. I gifted it to all of my friends even if they don't play just because I want to support the game.

Cant wait!!!!!!!! Please consider making it not so punishing to be a solo player!!! Groups can kill you easy , and benefit more from questing. Show us solo players some love. I hate being forced to group!!!!

I think Kent was picked because some of it's changes also affects 2 other dinos. Stego and Mira. They might share some abilities too. So most likely it's gonna help test/streamline for 2 more dinos.

Seeing Dynamosuchus and Wadiasaurus really makes me want some Triassic representation in the playable roster, so many weird and interesting species to choose from!

@@tigrex3622 It would be cool to have amphibians in the game, as POT focuses on lesser known creatures they could create the "METAPOSSAUR" and bring it to the game, it's a very interesting amphibian and I'd like to see more like it, I'm already sick of that salamander mod.
With directional attacks and Kent tlc maybe it's also a hint that the miragaia will be next

Just a correction Dynamosuchus is from the Santa Maria Formation and was discovered in Brazil and not Argentina.

Very interesting, definitely wasn’t expecting Kent’s tlc or new critters but I’m looking forward to seeing them
If you're heading towards the direction of AI and improving Critters then I'd love to see the possibility of Avian Critters.
Species like Icthyornis on the coasts or Coelurosauravus would be interesting to broaden diversity of AI life.
Also, really hoping some other species gets TLC's soon.
Stegosaurus and Iguanodon being at the top of my list...

Whats the point of a TLC when the basic stats are so bad. Kentro cant kill anything now and gets easily destroyed by Dasp, Allo or two Achillos.

Literally anything that’s above 2500 cw can easily take Kentro out, it’s not even a close fight.
Kentro is 2700 cw, but feels like 2000 cw bc of how bad it’s hp is now.

Allosaurus tlc when
I agree. The team has been doing absolutely outstanding with the TLC's and future content, however, Allo needs WAYYYY more help than kentro does. Allo is not even remotely balanced or dangerous despite being x2 the size of daspleto. Allo has been severely neglected by the game which makes me sad due to it being one of my favorite dinosaurs and I was extremely excited when it released. Now it just sits in my roster collecting dust until the team decides to tend to it and give it some much needed buffs.

One thing that I feel like doesn’t get talked about enough is how the sky looks😭 the clouds to be specific look like n64 clouds and it would be cool to have some nice looking clouds to go with the amazing colors that the Gondwana sky’s have to offer!!

Edit: I got an idea for the new critters if they tern out to be playable. Is that maybe some critters could dig burrows for themselves wich could make a hole new cool ability also they could and a counter to that ability wich would give certain other dinos the option to dig up there burrow but we could only wish.

You only need the subscription to play online, you still get the updates for singleplayer. Us Nintendo players have been waiting close to THREE WEEKS for this small little turkey thing to be released.

That is absolutely awesome. I love how you’re adding more dangerous critters at least mid medium size creatures so also carnivores have something to hunt because it was always so hard to find a carcass sometimes or if you were too small to take on anything big that was just in the area.
Love the critters idea, I want to see non-player creatures running around, especially bigger ones. Would be a good way to learn to fight as well
having larger critters that can actually feed large players would be great!
Dam didn't expect new critters other than the crocodile ai you guys should once (hope it isn't scrapt and is still getting added)that's a good thing hope it happens to playable dinosaur to and a big surprise kentro got a tlc before bars which was the original 3 who had a tlc planned for this year but I ain't complaining

Any TLC is welcomed, I am excited about them all which ever one comes first. Hopefully this will also be a thing in the future: specific ambient sounds per biome! Would add soooo much depth and atmosphere to the (realism) gameplay. More insect-sounds in desert biomes, more frogs and water sounds in the swamp, how about the sound of rolling wind on the plains, oh there's so much more depth to be added still. Truely hope this will be a thing!

I think being abke to customize or change the profile picture to the other ones it had in-game like the different dinosaur claws, heads or the fish that you can get whould be a fun small addition as you dont really get to pick which you end up with!

I’m not saying Nintendo isn’t to blame for 90% of this, but this is a recent issue. Until the last two large updates, all the platforms updated at the same time.
I get that the first big update had the engine update and Nintendo online crap, so that made sense to me. But this last update didn’t have anything that technical or dire. Waiting a few days, sure. Over two weeks? Nah, that’s ridiculous.
I know Nintendo doesn’t give devs time estimates for update approvals, but what is the sudden issue with giving Switch delayed updates when they didn’t have this issue before? They should at least tell us what is going on instead of leaving us hanging. We can’t play on community servers we like or with friends on different platforms. It’s hella discouraging.

I'm actually so mad that kentro has been pushed ahead of Bars. We were promised 😭 Bars has has a number of empty skill slots for as long as i can remember, and the last major thing you did for it was remove the knockback off of its headbut.. Come on PoT Bars deserves better.

I have been playing Path since just before Allosaurus/growth came out and the fact the game has come this far is amazing!
Devs, shout out to your families. You are doing a wonderful job! A suggestion I could make is introducing a hardcore gamemode in which a player can lose all its progress. For that to work there is got to be another way to gain growth tho, questing in hardcore will get old real quick hahaha

I think it's time For stegosaurus tlc and make it apex and replace maragaia to Stego tier.

Directional tail attack is one of the the most important features and needs to be implemented for a lot of more dinos! But did they really remove the find food quest for Kentro or is this a bug which only affects me?
So when do we get to play is the critters that would be fun 😁
Whilst I love you guys doing TLC's, I want you to think bigger! Be more creative. Dive further into the MMO genre. Lambeo was a pretty good TLC, but I can't help but wish for more unique abilities, more slots, more build options and playstyles. Expand on the way you implement these abilities. give creatures 5/10 abitities to choose from in every slot, whilst giving them 2/3 options to pick. This allows for much more creative character building. Want your dinosaur to be supportive with low damage but bonebreak, bleeds, venoms and buff calls? Or want to build it damage or speed oriented, but higher damage abilities at the cost of cc and status effects.
I really believe this game can get so much more, if you as developers figure out what genre you want to be in, and think bigger and better!
Kentro is getting Targeted with this one lol
So many dinosaurs need TLC before Kentro. I get it’s being updated for the new playable but this means again, more dinosaurs are left decades behind the rest of the roster.
They're getting to them all eventually it's not really a big deal.
@@whoahanantkind of is when they buff decent dinosaurs further making the ones that have been bad even worse. Kentro was a problem before it was nerfed, I can see it just repeating that problem again.
@@Fr0gl3t the game isn't even done so it really doesn't. We're all playing an in progress game that could have anything switched around at any time. So it doesn't really matter. They're going through them all one by one and Kentro is a better choice because it helps with 2 other dinos. That's streamlining a process which is better. Stego looks way more atrocious in comparison to most things now. Bars just needs ability reworks at most but it doesn't look nearly as ugly or out of date as other dinos were.
Please make dynamosuchus a playable, hes so cool!
I love the two Critters but I was really hoping they were Playables when first saw them-
I really hope we get a pseudosuchian or a sebecosuchian as an official playable at some point. I'd love to play as Barinasuchus or Postosuchus in game.
We need a sniff ability for all dinos so it would be easier to find food.
Food is already easy to find though? Plus it already tells you the direction of food when you're hungry.
