Wolf Alice - Your Loves Whore (Guitar Cover)

Wolf Alice are one of my favourite bands ever, so figured it was about time I put some covers up. Second one is 'Your Loves Whore' from their debut album 'My Love Is Cool'. Joff Oddie is undoubtedly one of the most creative and original guitarists I've ever heard and I think I've just about managed to emulate some of his sounds. Tuning is slightly iffy around 4:18 but nothing major.

Hey man, amazing guitar cover! You really nailed the tone! I want to learn this song myself so I had a look through your gear list. What amp did you use? Do you keep the delay on throughout the whole song? What kind of reverb did you use? Also, I can hear phaser on some of the guitar parts throughout the song (e.g. that last segment of the song). Just to confirm, is that Ellie’s rhythm guitar part? Thanks

Hey, sorry for taking forever to reply! No amp in this video, I just ran my pedalboard straight into my focusrite interface. I use an AC30 on some of my RUclips stuff. Yeah the delay is on the whole time and it's the sweep delay on the Line 6 M5 (same delay as Joff used on the Line 6 DL4) and that's what makes the phaser sound too rather than a separate pedal. Reverb is the Walrus Audio Slö. All the parts in the video are Joff's, Ellie plays mostly power chords doubling up with the bass on this song. Hope that helps!

Thanks! It's a cool guitar, I've upgraded it a fair bit... tusq nut, shimmed the neck, staytrem bridge and a Fender trem. I've got a Fender Jazzmaster and its not near as good as that but good for the money
