I'm a 66 year old white man that lives in Florida, I have watched several of the dance challenge videos , mainly because I really like the song , and I just watched another , but for some reason I got so emotional by the end of the song, I have tears running down my cheeks, without understanding a single word, or knowing what language it was, I just love the music
Same reaction , no idea what is it saying, but the very fact that people all over the planet took it and spontaneously started to dance like we are all one nation, that was so above the captivating rhythm, tears run into my eyes , but it feels somehow warm around my heart. I guess it gives us a new hope and a chance to believe in mankind again?
Covid has left many of us bereft. We need something to give us hope. The idea of "home", where we are safe and comforted appeals to many of us, hence the popularity. Seeing the energy that the dancers bring is also good.

This song has been on my heart daily I never knew why. I been sitting by my husband's side as he is dying from cancer and this song just eats at me. So tonite I googled the lyrics and played it to my husband and it just touchs so deep inside cause the fact it's something he needed to hear both of us did

The first time I heard this song I completely fell in love with it! When I heard it for the first time, all I could understand was Jerusalema. I needed to search for this song! When i found the song again kept on listening to the song not underatanding anything but the one word.
