I remember being enchanted by PEI when I flew over Charlottetown on a flight from Dublin to Boston in the summer of 1978. So beautiful on a sunny day!

Curious how deep the pillars go. Why won't they do this on vancouver island

The Strait of Georgia is ten times as deep as the Northumberland Strait, and the seafloor is way too soft.

I do not believe that I will ever get to travel on this bridge.

Only one way to do it, take a road trip and enjoy. Ever go across the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel? I’ve only done it once.

      @@dennistyler9852 Not feasible for me.
I have lived my entire life on Vancouver Island, and the furthest away I have ever gotten to travel has only been Calgary. But it is _way_ too expensive for me to travel that far.
And besides, I have an active travel warning in effect against the United States, for its structural violence against the working class.

Truly sad moment in our history. History? What history? CANCEL. CANCEL. CANCEL! Bunch of retards.

I like the name, changing it accomplishes nothing.

The only thing it does is cement the idea that Canada now ranks as the TOP country in WOKE ideology to the point where the place can longer be considered livable. A truly sad time in history.
