@ the rich will only write off their losses and reduce even further their tax debts. And they can do this over several years. The rich don’t lose, the laws are written in their favor.
I have a simple solution to this problem. Since the UAW President and local union officials think they can run these plants better than Stellantis, The UAW should buy out Stellantis and run them themselves. Problem Solved!
Some Stellantis line worker: "How dare you lay us off while we produce these overpriced, low quality, super low resale value vehicles." Chrysler, Dodge, Ram brands have been absolute refuse for years. No one desiring real quality will buy one of those clunkers.
Prices skyrocketed during the pandemic, but never came back down after it was over! The original (so-called) reason was due to low inventory. Now that inventory is way up, the market typically would show a decrease in prices, but the auto makers won't budge! They absolutely loved those huge profits during the pandemic and are now addicted to them! Basically they all became "profit junkies."
I agree the prices will not come down. Before the pandemic I paid 43 cents for a can of food for my cat then it went up to 90 cents and never came back down. The company has doubled there profit.
Stellantis is a financial "basket case." Poorly designed vehicles, cheap parts, and low reliability has consumers not wiling to purchase these vehicles at INFLATED prices. This is due to the greed and shortsightedness of the top executives at Stellantis. I feel for the workers, but they work for a company that has put PROFIT over QUALITY for years now. And they're now paying the price along with the workers. And unfortunately, strikes won't change the situation Stellantis is in.......
@@gordonallen9095 how about the union demanding so much money. They have unskilled workers making $50.00 per hour or more with benefits. That is why a jeep is $100,000.
@@FrankH-x7y A unskilled worker at Stellantis makes $18.17 per hour. A semiskilled worker averages $29.17 per hour. Maybe the reason a jeep is $100,000 is because the greedy @ss CEO of Stellantis makes 39.5 MILLION a year, and it goes down from there for board members and white collar executives.
