I’m this video I go train spotting at Edinburgh Gateway. You will see services from ScotRail, LNER and CrossCountry in this video. The types of trains you will see are the Class 43, Class 158, Class 170, Class 221 and Class 800.

Good vid pal, never been to there before. Can you just get up to the platform or do u need to go through some kind of ticket barrier?

Yes there is ticket barriers at Edinburgh Gateway which you have to go through to access the platforms however if you arrive by train you can stay on the platforms and they don’t mind spotting. Thanks for watching the video 😄

This is a busy passenger route with people coming to and from the airport and cities in the north of Scotland. Lots of different services pass through and stop at this station

Yes to access the trams you have to go through the barriers then go downstairs to the tram platforms
