So I am a 19 year old who fell 40 feet in a rock climbing accident. Had one of my vertebrae burst and had surgery. Been in intense care for a week and my family found this song. This is really hitting hard for me right now. I've been in a spiritual rut and longing for a time long past. I really should stop and remember to praise within the trials.
I can relate with you in this. This morning, the Lord woke me up really early before church to the sound of birds singing in chorus. It nearly made me cry because in that moment I realised that they were singing praises to our Creator, the Almighty God! For so long, I allowed my circumstances to silence me, but when I heard those birds so loudly and clearly, I just knew I had to raise my voice to sing praises! The rocks will cry out if we don't!

It certainly feels like the years are rolling by and time is wasted, but what He has done in me through persecution from those I love the most, though it be SO brutal, has been beautiful! I miscarried two days ago at 16 weeks and 6 days. All I can think about right now this morning is "Praise the Lord" because He does not promise that there will never be suffering. He promises to walk with us through it and to know that for me and my husband, our sorrow does not fall upon deaf ears and is not in vain. He is creating a new thing within us. A new compassion for others. A new love for each other as we've now experienced a taste of parenthood together and loss together. A deeper understanding of why He would send Jesus/Himself to suffer for us - seeing as we would have given of ourselves to save our baby girl if it was possible. We found out the day before that she was a girl at a routine ultrasound, and we were so excited and started calling her by name. We are grateful that He knows her by His name for her, and that we knew her by name. Bless the Lord, O my soul!

For years I have gone through bouts of depression and also being in the ministry it’s hard because sometimes when I need/want to talk about my weaknesses I don’t believe my church would understand and they expect me to be able to withstand a lot of things that those in the congregation might not. As one of leaders in my church I have felt like I had no voice and therefore would not step up because I didn’t feel I was strong enough...and sometimes made to feel I was wrong for sharing my feelings. I realized that I was putting far too much faith in what man thought of me and not what God believe knew and had gifted in me. When I first heard this song I didn’t get to hear the whole thing but the part that I heard it raise my spirit. When I finally got to hear the entire song and understand the meaning I had just left my prayer room after crying out to the Lord for all the pain and all that hurting of every issue that I was going through; and I remembered this song and decided to listen to it and I found myself crying even more but now the tears of mourning turned into tears of cleansing. That Is God who knows us and while man may believe they have the best interest for what we are going through God is the only one who knows us. Always Trust God first especially in your pain and hurting. Hiding, ignoring or dismissing what you are going through only leads to more pain. I want to thank the writer of this song for God has truly blessed you with a gift and I pray that those who hear this song whatever part of their life that they’re going through that the words of this song Will resonate with them it is truly a song that is meant for those who are going through and giving them a word of comfort and renewed strength. Sometimes I find we spend more time trying to tell ourselves we’re OK and that everything is OK. When the truth is we’re hurting it’s nice to be able to hear a song that honestly allows you to feel what you feel and I feel like you have to hide it till always seems so you’re strong and that you have no failures no weaknesses no doubts no worries with whatever it is life is pulling you through.

I've been having troubles finding God lately, repeating sins i shouldn't, and having a hard time finding the way i can serve God.
i want to accept Jesus into my heart forever, and i want to spread the gospel, but i have no idea where to start. this song makes me so emotional, it makes me believe i can be who God wants me to be. i am who God says i am, and i just need to figure out what he says of me. i pray that, i can be a fulltime Christian to a full time savior. i don't want to be a lukewarm christian anymore.

Heard this song for the first time today heading home from work. This was prefect timing for my family. I have many family members who have been hit with injuries, cancer and other issues recently. It helps to remember that we are to and can still praise God no matter what.

Please pray for my cousin, Daniel. He has been in ICU for over 5 weeks now with Covid. He is starting to make improvements but it's really rough. We found out today that my uncle (Daniel's dad) has it too. I pray for all of those that have covid to be healed and make a complete recovery and for their loved ones because it's really hard for us too. God bless.

For those who are His, He does not bring us into the wilderness of testing to let us to die. His sanctifying work in us is not wasted even when you've had to forsake all (my beloved husband and three children who sent me away because of my faith in the Lord nearly two years ago, having not seen or heard my husbands face once since sending me away) for Christ's name sake. It certainly feels like the years are rolling by and time is wasted, but what He has done in me through persecution from those I love the most, though it be SO brutal, has been beautiful!

Just hearing for the 1st time. Got out of the hospital 2 days ago after a near 6 week stay due to my kidneys. I've dealt with it before but this one near killed me. Thank God above for people who pray and what a wonderful song after I finally got out. Did my outpatient dialysis this morning, hurt all over but what a beautiful day it has been. If you're reading this and you think you can't go any further, trust me you can. Just pray. Its the only thing that got me through.
My mom passed away November 22nd and she was a beautiful Christian woman and this song helps me deal with grief when I can't catch my breath.

This song gives me so much nostalgia. During early 2020, when I would get ready to go to school, I would listen to the radio and this song would almost always play in the mornings. I didn’t think much of it then, but whenever I hear it now, I think back to the days before the pandemic when I would go to school and tell people about God.

I was saved by Jesus in 2018 towards the end of September. I was on my knees at 3:00 AM outside next to my trash can. I felt dirtier than the trash. Feeling like the world was caving in on me. I called out to Jesus and gave my life to him. The next morning I was filled with the holy spirit when I woke up. I saw miracles and answered prayers soon to follow and my life has never been the same. IM SIGNING "PRAISE THE LORD". I was never brought up in church or a believer. I truly am now...please read your bibles. The only book that matters.

I've had "if you're still alive and breathing, Praise the Lord!" in my head for several weeks. I didn't know who sang it, or even what the name was or really any other words, but when the music comes on and those words come from the speakers, my heart smiles. Now of course I do know the artist and the words. They tied together with the devotional that I read this morning - A Plan and Purpose, 2 Tim.4:14-18. Praise the Lord!!!

I miscarried two days ago at 16 weeks and 6 days. All I can think about right now this morning is "Praise the Lord" because He does not promise that there will never be suffering. He promises to walk with us through it and to know that for me and my husband, our sorrow does not fall upon deaf ears and is not in vain. He is creating a new thing within us. A new compassion for others. A new love for each other as we've now experienced a taste of parenthood together and loss together. A deeper understanding of why He would send Jesus/Himself to suffer for us - seeing as we would have given of ourselves to save our baby girl if it was possible. We found out the day before that she was a girl at a routine ultrasound, and we were so excited and started calling her by name. We are grateful that He knows her by His name for her, and that we knew her by name. Bless the Lord, O my soul!

For years I have gone through bouts of depression and also being in the ministry it’s hard because sometimes when I need/want to talk about my weaknesses I don’t believe my church would understand and they expect me to be able to withstand a lot of things that those in the congregation might not. As one of leaders in my church I have felt like I had no voice and therefore would not step up because I didn’t feel I was strong enough...and sometimes made to feel I was wrong for sharing my feelings. I realized that I was putting far too much faith in what man thought of me and not what God believe knew and had gifted in me. When I first heard this song I didn’t get to hear the whole thing but the part that I heard it raise my spirit. When I finally got to hear the entire song and understand the meaning I had just left my prayer room after crying out to the Lord for all the pain and all that hurting of every issue that I was going through; and I remembered this song and decided to listen to it and I found myself crying even more but now the tears of mourning turned into tears of cleansing. That Is God who knows us and while man may believe they have the best interest for what we are going through God is the only one who knows us. Always Trust God first especially in your pain and hurting. Hiding, ignoring or dismissing what you are going through only leads to more pain. I want to thank the writer of this song for God has truly blessed you with a gift and I pray that those who hear this song whatever part of their life that they’re going through that the words of this song Will resonate with them it is truly a song that is meant for those who are going through and giving them a word of comfort and renewed strength. Sometimes I find we spend more time trying to tell ourselves we’re OK and that everything is OK. When the truth is we’re hurting it’s nice to be able to hear a song that honestly allows you to feel what you feel and I feel like you have to hide it till always seems so you’re strong and that you have no failures no weaknesses no doubts no worries with whatever it is life is pulling you through.
