My fitness journey began when I was a young adult & new to the United States. I came from a small country in East Africa called Eritrea where women aren't usually seen outside of their traditional gender role. I never wanted to fit the traditional role. I believe that taking care of my physical health positively affects my mental & spiritual well being. And vice versa. I believe that strong girls are beautiful. What started as a hobby, grew into a passion, now is my way of life. My goal is to empower & inspire women through self-care & fitness - starting with myself.

Congratulations Sister I just found your video and am so proud of you cuz you keep straight your great religion but if you dont mind I just wonna give you little bit advice In orthodoxs Tewahdo we shave all the hair for any gender i mean girl or boy in their special big day "paptism" may be you dont now about that but belive me there is lots of meaning for that there is Great Fathers and brothers they will tell you about that meaning and am 100% sure you will agree with that after they tell you.
