thank you. This session felt like I am finally getting somewhere with her. She took a long time until she decided she could trust me after all the bad experiences she made previously

Nice work, I really like your steady quiet aproach. I like a lot how the mare changes her face after rubing her when you were on her.

thank you. This mare was so expresssive and it was so important for her to know I kept a friendly, steady energy so she could find that too

My older mustang was run through the shoots for a year before I adopted him and they used the stick and flag to chase them and make them go forward into each shoot. He’s very traumatized.
Your explanations of what he is feeling have helped me so much with him I understand his fear better now. THANK YOU!! ❤❤

oh poor guy! I can imagine how traumatized he must feel about any sort of flag etc.

That was amazing! Looks like shes gonna be enjoying being ridden. After the first few mounted hindquarter disengagements she looked really proud

You have such a wonderful and calming presence -- I felt more relaxed just watching you and listening to your explanations! I can only imagine how much of a positive impact this must have on the horses. I also really enjoyed your explanations of horse behaviour! So many things I wouldn't have thought of! For example, her wanting to keep the flag in her vision on her left side, and turning her head. Your attention to detail is amazing! Wow, bravo!

"Now let her think." What a wonderful and compassionate approach to training. And it works! You can see how the mare trusts you. Amazing.

Do you have any advice about horses that bite?
