Piper Turbine Meridian (4K), Back from Paris Le Bourget Landing at Augsburg (EDMA)

With two very little kiddies on board, cruising at FL 270, an average headwind component of 20 kts it took 1 hour and 45 minutes flying time from Paris Le Bourget (LFPB) to Augsburg. The distance flown was 380 NM (~700 km). With our former aircraft the DA62 it took us 2 hours and 20 minutes from Paris Pontoise (LFPT), 17 NM west of Le Bourget, to Augsburg - with moderate tailwind in a cruising altitude of FL80. Aside from the shorter travel time, a comfortable flight with two small children is easily achievable with a pressurized cabin plus turbine. Unfortunately not feasible with the DA62. The reason for this upgrade from a DA62 to the Meridian is obvious ...
