I love the work you've put into these pieces. But boy are they up there. The mega bloks halo figures are very nice quality, and are fairly reasonable in pricing. I'd suggest cutting down your end a bit.
I dunno, I like Lego and all that, but I just prefer Mega overall. The Minifigures themselves outclass a Lego figure any day of the week. And even the sets themselves are better sometimes.
@@Ryodarkcaster that's true, I can't even argue. The distribution of the Mega sets has been awful lately, for almost half a year now the only things available locally are the Razorback set, and the Hornet. Not even the blind bags or Halo Heroes.
That's why I'm happy that Megacontrux is in charge of that license, because he possibly overexploited it and would make so many sets with super inflated prices
lego even with out mega contrux would not do halo halo uses more realistic guns so they would not support it. plus mega sets are cool i like the super poseable figures.
Collecting Halo MEGA figures always gave me the same vibe as collecting Clone trooper mini figures. Also, I don’t think Lego will ever make halo figures or sets because of MEGA.

As a fan of Lego and Mega I can say they’re not the same. I like collecting a mega figure every now and then, but as someone who grew up with Lego I simply gravitate to the lego aesthetic more
The best thing about this is compatibility. I've heard people say the MEGA figures hands can break when you give them LEGO weapons. It'd be cool to see some ODST helmets and armor.
I really like the idea of make lego halo but i just dont think it would work as well as mega construx because i feel like mega are more detailed and make the figures more realistic while using lego will just make em look more stubby and just a whole different vibe but i really do like this idea ngl
The Mega Bloks figures look much better than any Lego ones. We shouldn't be aiming to go backwards, we should be trying to make Lego go forwards and update their Mini figs. Like, Lego fans freak out that they are now getting 'printed' forearms, meanwhile you can fully disassemble and switch out every individually coloured piece of your Spartan mini figures.
@@UTLF This is a crazy comment. I don't think anyone ever complains about mega's figures being too detailed other than Lego fans huffing military grade copium. People in the Mega community only ever complain about them wanting to be more detailed (bringing back washes and speckling). The joints haven't been an issue for a good 3 years now, and even if you do get one, there's plenty of 5 minute fixes you can do to immediately solve them.
Not gonna lie I'd rather trade star wars and Halo around for a few years, I feel like it would be cool to see how mega would handle all the different aliens and troopers and interesting to see how Lego would actually be able to have sets be available. That and it feels Lego star wars hasn't done anything interesting in awhile.
Part of the problem for Lego Star Wars is that there hasn't been any relatively decent films as of late, sets are absolutely expensive, and it is a damn pain to get extended universe sets available. I heard that the previous mano season was quite meh too, so Star Wars might eventually be slowing down too much to bring in new ideas.
Shame how both series are lacking in quality content. I dont hate the new star wars and infinite was disappointed (but not halo 5 bad). I think in the case of star wars, disney either doesn't have the rights or refuses to touch anything that could mess with the current filming plan (ashoka, and other shows). Like if they just retold a bunch of stories with the label as "legends" then lego would prob put out some sets based off of legends. For halo? I am not super stoked about last wave, but if they keep playing into nostalgia (hell of a drug) and fix their distribution. Then absouluty it would come back
Im an old Gundam fan. But before I became a Gundam fan and bought Gundam models i use to play with LEGO's. When i started watching Gundam in the early 2000's i wished there was Gundam mini figs that i could buy to go along with the LEGO space ships that i built at the time. I tried using model paint to paint a mini fig to look like the Gundam but the paint didn't work well on the body of the mini fig so i ended up throwing it away. I still have the LEGO ships that i built all them years ago even after i got rid of my box of LEGO's. I'd love to maybe one day build a diorama of the Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank standing outside White Base fight Char's Zaku
This feels beyond stubborn. The halo mega Construx scene is better than it ever has been. The coolest classic halo 3 themed sets have just been released and there are tons more coming, I have been doing mocs and replicas justice, it's only going to get better.
We have halo mega for a reason 😶. They look better with more details so having them as Lego Minifigures just makes them look a little weird. Especially the elites
As a halo fan I have to say going to Lego will be a major downgrade over mega with there much much much more detailed figures that have proper moving joints more custom molds and custom prints.
@@Zero_likes_katanas I respect that opinion but I just don’t agree I do not enjoy mega construx. I think some of the vehicles and builds are nice but overall I don’t like the feel and the poseability of the figures is a big drawback for me. They move too much too easy for me.
@@Zero_likes_katanas I actually own a couple of sets I got for the vehicles which I keep on display. However that being said I rarely touch them as they are also extremely fragile, which in most cases would be a dealbreaker for me.
5:40 I am legitimately surprised you didn't design it more like a turtle shell, where the backpack could be attached as a unique piece, allowing people to add different kinds of backpacks to grunts as desired.
These are really great molds! In all honesty I would have absolutely no interest in a Lego Halo license as Mega just does such an exceptional job at creating some of the best mini figures on the market. But still, I respect your game! 🫡
ngl I think halo should stay to mega construx. although you're doing great working with what you have, lego is pretty limited detail and articulation wise and I'm afraid it doesn't translate very well.
Maybe for the grunt doing duel molding by making the breathers fifteenth Coker’s for the grunts and printed torsos and legs would be great to but take your time we all know the parts always turn out fantastic and all of your videos

Mega bricks definitely hit the mark with Halo and COD. Big complaint from some Lego fans is the lack of movement in the minifigures. I cannot discount their mega blocks counter part, but just Lego has all of the most popular brands. Plus Mega Blocks is NOT AFRAID TO MAKE ACTUAL WEAPONS RESEMBLING REAL GUNS! That Canada company cannot compete with those people in Denmark... Just saying...
Honestly, I am comfy with Mega Bloks carrying the helm here. The figures are of a higher quality, sets are cheaper, and ofc, Star Wars got lucky, Halo literally is rooted in realistic warfare that Lego just will sadly refuse to accept to make.
I personally think that Lego figs are not the right scale for halo because everything looks so squished and they cant hold the weapons properly because there not posable enough
I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this. I don't think Mega is a knockoff I think it a competitor to lego. What I think is a knockoff is leipin that took Star War sets and copy it.
Dude this is awesome I been putting together a Lego halo moc. Not a big fan of mega construx and there molds. But you weapon accessories are top notch for halo I will be purchasing in the near future. It would be a dream if you started making custom helmets for Og halo 3 multiplayer armor recon, eod, haybusa and noble team ect. Keep up the great work would love to see Lego halo get big since Lego will never make it… lol

Theres a thing called Halo Mega thats a hecka lot cheaper, the prices are stable and it is more poseable and detailed.

Brickforge had really really amazing ODSTS and there spartans are still better than brick tactical as of now.

With the grunt heads another way you could reuse the tooling is making them in black as a "helmet with respirator" or something along that line.

I would miss the Mega Construx Halo so idk how i feel about it, the articulation SUCKS on lego so i think i wouldn’t purchase any of it.
And with lego being lego a small mongoose set that parts wise would be $15 or less would be $25 at least.
