Thanks, it could be done cleaner for sure but, i used just what i had laying around. I will do an update on it in the future for some battery hacks on it.
If I do this then I don’t need to purchase there ego solar brick charger I will just a need a solar charger… do you use the unit to charge the other batteries?
There’s no real schematic, I simply wired a plug onto each battery by opening the battery and then made a 3 way cable and put them in Paralel. They will charge at the same time but, ensure all the batteries are near the same voltage before hooking them together.
I admire your skill and ingenuity but the ego doesn’t need pass through charging in my opinion. You can take one battery off at a time and fast charge individually or bring spares and change and charge as you need with a car inverter.
I really didnt need a power station as much as what i really needed was a tool that could interchange batteries on job sites. The rest is just a hack or after thought.
Ego should make an adapter so we can utilize this feature. Thanks for the vid.
Great job. Lack of pass through is the only reason I haven't purchased a Nexus.

Any chance you can share the schematics for wiring the batteries up for pass through charging?
Wowww

Correct, be careful when doing it because unless you add a fuse to each battery, you could get into trouble but, it isn’t hard and works great.
How much power are you able to pass through?
Those batteries really don’t need to charge with more than 10 amps each so, 30 amps of charge plus any loads
How did you wire it for pass through charging? Can u show the schematics? Thanks

@@shawni38 thank you.
What solar charger controller are you using? I looked it up but doesn't look like it does 56v
Any 48v controller will do, I can’t recall the brand on that one but, it’s one of those clones like powermr

What made you go with the ego nexus instead of something like the EcoFlow ?

It doesn’t have pass through charging
