As of the moment King-ogher Sentai is my favourite because of their cool mechs design. Also will you also react to Super Sentai episodes as well. Although the ending theme for the ninnger Sentai is my favourite. Best opening is either Gokaiger or Shinkennger. As for a recommendation, in my opinion I'd suggest the samurai Sentai or Shinkennger as the Japanese call them.

Don Brothers (the last one) is that crazy on purpose, basically the ratings on Super Sentai have been going down for a while and so the producers decided to just go all in on craziness to see if that could bring people's attention, and it kinda worked as thanks to this season and the new one, King Ohger, numbers are going up again.
I like Don Brothers the most. I think this is the most ``work close to the hearts of modern people'' in the history of the series. Although it is rarely understood 😅

Chōjin Sentai Jetman is my favorite sentai. It's the season that saved Super Sentai from being canceled, and it's one of the most popular and darkest entries in Super Sentai. (Black Condor Forever)
It's the way it is because it is essentially one big reference to Kagaku Sentai Gatchaman. From the bird aesthetic, to the cool member of the team dying.
The last one (Avataro Sentai Donbrothers) is one of the best SS seasons ever, please don't write it off because of the CG members, it reaches a point where you don't even bat an eye on them, this season is one of the funniest and most well written seasons.

Worth noting, Toei, who does Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, also did the original Saint Seiya anime. And Dragon Ball too. Fist of the North Star, Kinnikuman, they did everyone's 80s childhood shows from Japan, lol.
Oh my God, I loved Magiranger and Toqger so much! Power rangers is literally sentai, but localized for us audiences, but sentai generally has stronger storylines and characters. As for kamen rider vs sentai, no need to choose, it is apples to oranges. All are good

@@jayroro7053 You as a kid probably watched Power Rangers Samurai and/or Power Rangers Super Samurai (Super Samurai is a direct sequel to Power Rangers Samurai but with the same characters and suits as Nickelodeon wanted two seasons for each team). If you loved Power Rangers Samurai & Super Samurai, you'll definitely love Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Shinkenger is a fan favorite as well as Chōjin Sentai Jetman, Gosei Sentai Dairanger, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (my favorite and the best anniversary season ever and a lot of other people's favorites and nice to know you seen an episode of it)

Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Ressha Sentai ToQger, and Gingaman are all written by Kobayashi Yasuko and she's REALLY good - hence why those three seasons are some of my favorites. I also love Gekiranger (written by Michiko Yokote, love her as well ^^) and well. Toshiki Inoue (Jetman and DonBrothers) is someone whose writing you simply have to EXPERIENCE because he's one of a kind XD ♥
the last 2 - zenkaiger and donbrothers were both affected by covid regulations, especially donbrothers which is why 2 of the rangers are both cgi however they actually end up being 2 of the most interesting characters in the show so the cgi thing cancels out
I’d say Zenkaiger was effected more considering almost all of the rangers were fully suited characters. Kijibrother and Inubrother were still played by actors showing their faces when untransformed. Honestly, I think Donbrothers’ CGI rangers was more for the sake of experimenting with the formula than as a covid precaution.
The ones starting at the 2000s were absolute bangers. I grew up with the hype the music brought along so I know lol. I think the point was to make sure kids wake up at a healthy time on Sundays (the show airs on 7:30-8:30 back to back with kamen rider) so they don't miss the show and the songs amp the children up to get ready for the day

Technically Abaranger with the Dino Thunder special, but I got into Super Sentai officially with the Magiranger vs Dekaranger special. Gekiranger's definitely my favorite, though I feel like people don't really talk about it much despite the story of it being actually being pretty good.
So people had been talking about how King Ohger is the most recent season. But what they forgot to mention is that after episode 26, which airs tomorrow as of this comment, there will be a two year time skip. And a new enemy faction will appear. Plus there were rumors of an old ranger from a previous season will be returning as a member of the King Ohger Cast. It is believed that Kyoryu Red will return. This is because next month marks the ten year anniversary of the season. But this is just speculation. Oh and since no one had mentioned it. There are movies which shows off what is happening years after certain seasons. Hurricanger 10 years after and the 20 year anniversary movie both exist. Abaranger 20 years after - Premires in theaters next month on September 1st. Dekaranger 10 years after Kyoryuger 100 years after showing off the descendants of the team.

Then moved to Hong Kong to do stunt work. Also for the show he was in, B-Fighter Kabuto, I think is good. It's a sequel to B Fighter but since it's a new cast so if you want watch B Fighter Kabuto standalone that's fine & if it sparks your interest you can watch B Fighter. Beetleborgs is A LOT goofier & stars kids but is okay but if you wanna watch the show with Dantes VA, watch B Fighter Kabuto. @@jayroro7053 To be fair, being cast as a ranger or rider is pretty much an actor's entry to voice acting since they have a suit actor doing the stunt action and they dub the result at the studio. Kamen Rider zero-one's main actor even played one of the villain wizard kings in the recent Black clover movie.
Interesting to note that Stan Lee collaborated with Toei (the studio behind KR and SS) to make three sentai shows and a Spider-Man show and even tried to get a English dub of Sun Vulcan to air on American television but it didn’t work out.
That's crazy how Stan Lee really collaborated with Toei, didn't know he did that why it didn't work for American television was it like the english dub bad for Sun Vulcan?

My top 4: Liveman (88), Kakuranger(94), Lupinranger Vs Patranger(18) and Don Brothers (22) not to mention that DonBrothers is TOTALLY INSANE and COHERENT (that's a lot of craziness in one season). Without a doubt, it broke the standard vision that we had in the sentais.

I got into super sentai from a friend in college & I basically watched them in order by their power ranger counterparts so zyuranger 1st, daiganger 2nd, kakuranger 3rd, etc. My top favorite that I would recommend would be magiranger, shinkenger, toqger, Zyuohger, kyuranger, gokaiger, & ryusoulger

Don't sleep on Donbrothers I initially watched the first episode out of sheer curiosity, and now it's one of my top 3 favourite Sentai. Since Gokaiger, Super Sentai has been doing a lot more experimental Sentai seasons, Go-Busters had leather suits and lots of Power Rangers references, Kyuranger had 12 rangers and the heroes had already lost, Lupinranger vs Patranger had two teams versing each other, Zenkaiger had 4/5 of the main team as robot rangers and Donbrothers is Donbrothers. Also, King-Ohger the latest season hasn't had a filler episode yet 25 eps into it which is unprecedented for a Sentai/PR season.
For the ones you said you wanted to try out, I only don't recommend Ninninger. The OP and first episode are really hype, but it's a lackluster season overall.

I definitely recommend Shinkenger 50:00, definitely top tier, my all time favorite is Gokaiger 53:00, i also recommend Dekaranger 40:00 and Lupinranger VS Patranger 1:06:00
As a One Piece fan too, you may have missed that the narrator for Kyoryuger (57:50) is done by Shigeru Chiba (Buggy the Clown), for ToQger (59:35) by Kappei Yamaguchi (Ussop) and Zyuohger (1:02:44) by Cho (Brooks). If you want more One Piece voice actors, check Kyuranger (1:04:08), Ookami Blue have Zoro's voice, Oushi Black has Black Beard's and Ryu Commander have Law's
My earliest exposure to Super Sentai is with the reruns of Bioman, Maskman, and Jetman during the late 90s and early 2000s in the Philippines. I didn't make the connection that they were in the same franchise or that they're related to Power Rangers back then. I also had a classmate who referred to the mechs in Power Rangers Wild Force as "GaoKing" and "GaoHunter" when we're talking about it. I didn't understand why at first but a few years later when I learned about Super Sentai, I thought that he might have gotten the Japanese toys. The Sentai source of Wild Force is GaoRanger. I still sing the theme songs of Bioman, Maskman, and Jetman in karaoke. I love the other theme songs but they're not in the karaoke machine. Lyrically, my favorite theme song in Super Sentai is Boukenger's (Operation Overdrive equivalent). I think it's very inspiring while still keeping up with the show's Indiana Jones/adventurer motif, especially the part "In the middle of my chest is the magnet/compass of my heart, teaching me the (heart)beat of an awakening dream." The theme song that gets my blood hot the most though is Gekiranger's. I love the blend of rock music, traditional Chinese instruments, kiai/battle cries of the background voices, and the tiger roars. The full version has the energy of the song rising till the end. Personally, I'd also recommend watching the whole Gekiranger series and movies. I think it has some of the best melee fight scenes in Super Sentai and the inspirations from kung-fu and wuxia movies really show. It also has a good build-up in uncovering some characters' pasts and I was holding back tears for some of them. 50:13 I'm with you on watching Shinkenger. However, I think you need to know that Shinkenger's Episode 21 is in the middle of a crossover with Kamen Rider Decade. It would spoil you on Decade if you're not watching the two shows at the same time. 1:12:18 CGI Rangers. Those guys lose their human shapes and proportions when they transform. Also that's the first male pink ranger in default form.
I'm used to be a kamen rider guy, but the Reiwa era really is killing me right now. Not a single great season since Build ended, and Saber was a nail to the coffin for many people.

Second, Geats might be similar to Ryuki in some ways, but Ryuki was 20 years ago, and Geats is the 20th anniversary show for Ryuki anyway. Third, Saber has cool theme and motif, and I very like the suits; Saber has some of the best suits in the REIWA ERA, but the story is not that good
Answering your question, Jason David frank definitely my favorite power rangers actor because he did a great job playing the role of Tommy Oliver and the dude was five rangers. My favorite character from super sentai is definitely abarekiller from abaranger because the dude is OP. Literally could take on anyone and his character had a lot of development.

Some Power Rangers fighting scene were from Super Sentai and the worst of Power Rangers scene is Super Megaforce (Gokaiger). The person who put the fighting scene in Super Megaforce; where civilians run for their life were Japanese in that scene. I was like, 'Bruh, where is your own civilians that running for their life, instead of using Gokaiger fighting scene. That's just lazy copy paste'
@@jayroro7053The Japanese crowd footages have been there even in the older seasons of Power Rangers, sometimes buildings with Japanese texts included. I never noticed that as a kid but it easily stands out to me as an adult rewatching some old episodes.

I don't know if you remember my comment about Sentai in the Kamen Rider video but as you can see, all your favourite Power Rangers seasons are there in full Japanese glory lol If I had to suggest a season to try out, here's my thinking: If you want something in the timeframe of Mighty Morphin' - Jetman, Dairanger, Kakuranger If you want something in the time of the Disney era of Power Rangers - Hurricanger, Abaranger, Dekaranger If you want something from the time where Power Rangers was coming back to TV - Shinkenger, Gokaiger If you want Sentai-exclusives to see what we never got in the modern era - ToQger, Kyuranger, Lupinranger vs Patranger The two wild cards are Zenkaiger & Dinbrothers as they both just completely change the idea of what these shows are like. But as you can see, people are begging you to try Donbrothers and I do too, it's crazy but such a great show. Love bother shows, worth a shot depending on your tastes. Also, there's an unofficial Sentai! Akibaranger, which is the perfect show if you love things like anime, cosplay, that whole scene as it's set in Akihabara, the home of otakus. I actually started with Akibaranger and I loved it!

Yeah... once you get out of the early run of openings, they start to differ greatly in style. Once you reach the 90's, they almost always hit hard with the openings.

"Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger" is the story of 12 people formed by selected members of the rebel army formed by earthlings and aliens against the ruler of the universe.
There are not only aliens who look the same as humans, but also beast-type aliens, and there are android members.

Oh my God, I loved Magiranger and Toqger so much! Power rangers is literally sentai, but localized for us audiences, but sentai generally has stronger storylines and characters.

If you loved Power Rangers Samurai & Super Samurai, you'll definitely love Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Shinkenger is a fan favorite as well as Chōjin Sentai Jetman, Gosei Sentai Dairanger, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (my favorite and the best anniversary season ever and a lot of other people's favorites and nice to know you seen an episode of it)

Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Ressha Sentai ToQger, and Gingaman are all written by Kobayashi Yasuko and she's REALLY good - hence why those three seasons are some of my favorites. I also love Gekiranger (written by Michiko Yokote, love her as well ^^) and well. Toshiki Inoue (Jetman and DonBrothers) is someone whose writing you simply have to EXPERIENCE because he's one of a kind XD ♥
the last 2 - zenkaiger and donbrothers were both affected by covid regulations, especially donbrothers which is why 2 of the rangers are both cgi however they actually end up being 2 of the most interesting characters in the show so the cgi thing cancels out
I’d say Zenkaiger was effected more considering almost all of the rangers were fully suited characters. Kijibrother and Inubrother were still played by actors showing their faces when untransformed.
Honestly, I think Donbrothers’ CGI rangers was more for the sake of experimenting with the formula than as a covid precaution.

The ones starting at the 2000s were absolute bangers. I grew up with the hype the music brought along so I know lol. I think the point was to make sure kids wake up at a healthy time on Sundays (the show airs on 7:30-8:30 back to back with kamen rider) so they don't miss the show and the songs amp the children up to get ready for the day

Gekiranger's definitely my favorite, though I feel like people don't really talk about it much despite the story of it being actually being pretty good.
So people had been talking about how King Ohger is the most recent season. But what they forgot to mention is that after episode 26, which airs tomorrow as of this comment, there will be a two year time skip. And a new enemy faction will appear.
Plus there were rumors of an old ranger from a previous season will be returning as a member of the King Ohger Cast. It is believed that Kyoryu Red will return. This is because next month marks the ten year anniversary of the season. But this is just speculation.
Oh and since no one had mentioned it. There are movies which shows off what is happening years after certain seasons.
Hurricanger 10 years after and the 20 year anniversary movie both exist.
Abaranger 20 years after - Premires in theaters next month on September 1st.
Dekaranger 10 years after
Kyoryuger 100 years after showing off the descendants of the team.

It's a sequel to B Fighter but since it's a new cast so if you want watch B Fighter Kabuto standalone that's fine & if it sparks your interest you can watch B Fighter. Beetleborgs is A LOT goofier & stars kids but is okay but if you wanna watch the show with Dantes VA, watch B Fighter Kabuto. I got into super sentai from a friend in college & I basically watched them in order by their power ranger counterparts so zyuranger 1st, daiganger 2nd, kakuranger 3rd, etc. My top favorite that I would recommend would be magiranger, shinkenger, toqger, Zyuohger, kyuranger, gokaiger, & ryusoulger

Don't sleep on Donbrothers I initially watched the first episode out of sheer curiosity, and now it's one of my top 3 favourite Sentai. Since Gokaiger, Super Sentai has been doing a lot more experimental Sentai seasons, Go-Busters had leather suits and lots of Power Rangers references, Kyuranger had 12 rangers and the heroes had already lost, Lupinranger vs Patranger had two teams versing each other, Zenkaiger had 4/5 of the main team as robot rangers and Donbrothers is Donbrothers. Also, King-Ohger the latest season hasn't had a filler episode yet 25 eps into it which is unprecedented for a Sentai/PR season.

As a One Piece fan too, you may have missed that the narrator for Kyoryuger (57:50) is done by Shigeru Chiba (Buggy the Clown), for ToQger (59:35) by Kappei Yamaguchi (Ussop) and Zyuohger (1:02:44) by Cho (Brooks).

My earliest exposure to Super Sentai is with the reruns of Bioman, Maskman, and Jetman during the late 90s and early 2000s in the Philippines. I didn't make the connection that they were in the same franchise or that they're related to Power Rangers back then. I also had a classmate who referred to the mechs in Power Rangers Wild Force as "GaoKing" and "GaoHunter" when we're talking about it. I didn't understand why at first but a few years later when I learned about Super Sentai, I thought that he might have gotten the Japanese toys. The Sentai source of Wild Force is GaoRanger. I still sing the theme songs of Bioman, Maskman, and Jetman in karaoke. I love the other theme songs but they're not in the karaoke machine.
Lyrically, my favorite theme song in Super Sentai is Boukenger's (Operation Overdrive equivalent). I think it's very inspiring while still keeping up with the show's Indiana Jones/adventurer motif, especially the part "In the middle of my chest is the magnet/compass of my heart, teaching me the (heart)beat of an awakening dream."
The theme song that gets my blood hot the most though is Gekiranger's. I love the blend of rock music, traditional Chinese instruments, kiai/battle cries of the background voices, and the tiger roars. The full version has the energy of the song rising till the end.
Personally, I'd also recommend watching the whole Gekiranger series and movies. I think it has some of the best melee fight scenes in Super Sentai and the inspirations from kung-fu and wuxia movies really show. It also has a good build-up in uncovering some characters' pasts and I was holding back tears for some of them.
50:13 I'm with you on watching Shinkenger. However, I think you need to know that Shinkenger's Episode 21 is in the middle of a crossover with Kamen Rider Decade. It would spoil you on Decade if you're not watching the two shows at the same time.

Answering your question, Jason David frank definitely my favorite power rangers actor because he did a great job playing the role of Tommy Oliver and the dude was five rangers. My favorite character from super sentai is definitely abarekiller from abaranger because the dude is OP. Literally could take on anyone and his character had a lot of development.

Some Power Rangers fighting scene were from Super Sentai and the worst of Power Rangers scene is Super Megaforce (Gokaiger). The person who put the fighting scene in Super Megaforce; where civilians run for their life were Japanese in that scene. I was like, 'Bruh, where is your own civilians that running for their life, instead of using Gokaiger fighting scene. That's just lazy copy paste'

@@jayroro7053The Japanese crowd footages have been there even in the older seasons of Power Rangers, sometimes buildings with Japanese texts included. I never noticed that as a kid but it easily stands out to me as an adult rewatching some old episodes.
Pr seems to have 2 or 3 sentai adaptions for power rangers

Ey it's good to see you reacting to the other side! I don't know if you remember my comment about Sentai in the Kamen Rider video but as you can see, all your favourite Power Rangers seasons are there in full Japanese glory lol
If I had to suggest a season to try out, here's my thinking:
If you want something in the timeframe of Mighty Morphin' - Jetman, Dairanger, Kakuranger
If you want something in the time of the Disney era of Power Rangers - Hurricanger, Abaranger, Dekaranger
If you want something from the time where Power Rangers was coming back to TV - Shinkenger, Gokaiger
If you want Sentai-exclusives to see what we never got in the modern era - ToQger, Kyuranger, Lupinranger vs Patranger
The two wild cards are Zenkaiger & Dinbrothers as they both just completely change the idea of what these shows are like. But as you can see, people are begging you to try Donbrothers and I do too, it's crazy but such a great show. Love bother shows, worth a shot depending on your tastes.
Also, there's an unofficial Sentai! Akibaranger, which is the perfect show if you love things like anime, cosplay, that whole scene as it's set in Akihabara, the home of otakus. I actually started with Akibaranger and I loved it!
Yea I remeber your comment on Kamen Rider, The Mighty Morphin growing up was amazing to watch I am curious to see how Super Sentai does it. The Samurai one I grow up watching as a little kid I heard the super sentai one is really good.

Yeah... once you get out of the early run of openings, they start to differ greatly in style. Once you reach the 90's, they almost always hit hard with the openings.
