Ive read a post about how people didnt like their dance in this song cuz its not powerful enough or fast enough. They dont even know how artistic this dance is. Theyve basically integrated daily items into dance moves and still be in sync even at slow moves (its easier to find mistakes when you move slow). This dance and every other dance svt has made is ART and no one will be able to say otherwise

17 Seventeen 17 Yesss someone who shares my views! I mean I guess we can all agree that in terms of the amount and force of movements, this aint on par with Boom Boom, Aju Nice, or even DWC. Yet in terms of delivery, this is just as powerful. Hands down, they don't need extremely powerful or extremely complex dance moves for their choreography to be considered a masterpiece. Not a lot of groups do this walking-standing-slow hand movement-formation thing SVT does and I personally think it's beautiful.

I don't think people understand that this choreography is actually pretty hard? It pays so much attention to details and emotions AND NOT TO MENTION THE PATIENCE THEY NEED FOR THIS. There's a lot of times where they had to wait it out before they execute moves and that's pretty hard for dance. It's so easy to get impatient and do a move ahead of everyone else OR get to complacent in the waiting time and end up missing a move or getting late doing it. You have to be very aware of the others and listen carefully or else everything would be ruined and it'll look hella messy (which is NOT in Seventeen's vocabulary). That shit's hard!!! But they pulled it off easily and so beautifully as always. The artistry in this choreo is impeccable too like all the symbolism, the pictures and again DETAILS are so so sooooo amazing and pure genius!!!
ALSO! For a "simple" choreography, they're still able to make it interesting! Because simple choreography can get pretty boring at some point but that's not the case with this at all

OMG This choreography is so simple, yet so sofisticated. It suits song 100%, I have found this song just now and I can't describe how incredible this is. How talented they are and how they keep balance, doing it with great taste. If someone from Seventeen or their team will read this, thank you for this moving incredible performance.
Y'all, in case you guys don't know, they started with DWC because this song is the next chapter of the love story they made. Starting from 'Adore you' to 'Clap' it's about a boy who falls in love and in this chapter he's talking about how he should start to live life to the fullest and try to forget the lover. And make a new start. And then Clap is about the boy currently living his life to the fullest and having a new start and a happier exciting life. Saying that he's moved on. So they purposefully made the choreography and lyrics connect to DWC and that's why they started the video with DWC.
BUT ANYWAYS THIS VIDEO IS GREAT and PLEASE stream the Clap and vote for our boys so that our sebongies can win awards. 2017 is supposed to be Seventeen's year but our ranking is very low. PLEASE STREAM THE MUSIC VIDEO AND IF YOU CAN, KOREAN STREAMING SITES LIKE MELON, GENIE, ETC. It's very important for Seventeen. And it's their 2nd official full album. We can't let it flop.
Other than that, the good news is that we broke a personal record for the fastest selling albums. (Please don't feel discouraged if you couldn't buy an album. It's good to buy an album but for international fans it's hard and you don't have to buy an album to be a Carat. You just have to love them and cheer them on and be by their side.)
Also, 'Without You' is a personal favorite of mine and I'm so glad their's a choreography video. As always, the choreography is on point and it seems like Hoshi can't disappoint. Their outfits are on point and they look so goood.

Because this is a song that expresses one’s contemplation, the dance choreographed seems to portray uncertainty and a lack of direction (based on them walking around and changing paths, the neck touching gesture)
This song was released about two years ago, maybe I’m reading it too much, but I guess I only appreciate it better now after realising from my habitual walking around while contemplating about something, that I’ve seen this reaction of mine somewhere but ‘in another form’

I really do think Hoshi would be great in choreographing musicals in the future. He has a great eye for formations and knows how to insert continuity in choreography. This was simplistic in moves but so intricate in the formation and it's so poignant and beautiful

As a choreographer myself, I'd say this is one of the hardest to execute. Fast songs can hide minor mistakes, but slow ones like this need precision. Every misstep, incorrect V position of feet while standing still, wrong head tilt, incorrect pace when lowering the arm, etc. will ruin it for me. You need top notch dancers to pull this off cleanly. And they did, superbly.

In this type of dance where the movements are slow, if one person misses a beat it would look so obvious and would mess up the choreo. I couldn't imagine the kind of skill and trust and discipline this group has to be able to execute this dance well. And those people saying it's not powerful enough only look out for big, flashy, and aggressive movements. They won't be able to appreciate what this group does. Sad.
