I really liked the first dress on her better. Maybe if they had added a belt with bling it would have been the finishing touch. The first dress just seemed like a better fit for her.
My dad always said " opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has one and each thinks everyone else's stinks" . I pick what I want, am comfortable in and what I think suits me. Mom, MIL and nan had their day, today is THIS bride's day.
I have to believe that the shop could have found a way to sew beads or sequins on the first dress to give the bride the sparkle she wanted. David could have emphasized how that would give her a truly one-of-a-kind dress - great selling point. The first dress was a much better choice than the second.
She’s a beautiful bride in either dress. They’re very similar in the skirt. But I too voted on the 1st one. I really liked the back on that one and how the structure in the bodice flowed into the skirt. Just add a little more sparkle and it would have been perfect. When my mom purchased her dress almost 63 years ago, it was very plain. A beautiful long sleeved silk ball gown. Her aunt was a talented seamstress on Broadway in NY and she added gorgeous starburst crystals on the skirt and a delicate lace trim to the neckline.
I absolutely hate that women who are ready and grown up feel the need for validation over a wedding dress. Old enough to marry.. Old enough to decide what you want to wear.
she got the feeling she wanted in dress number2, u can undo that magic moment.... no matter what your opinions are as family or in the comments section -_-
I love the first dress and it's something I would wear. The 2nd dress was similar but for some reason it didn't look as amazing. It's too bad the first dress didn't have more bling.
Such a Beautiful girl... To be fair, she would look stunning in any dress she tried, so it comes down to her choice. She wasn't sticking to her guns on a fashion faux pa's, so I'm not sure why the entourage couldn't get behind her... Anyway, her choice was gorgeous and I hope she felt wonderful and happy on big day.
I don’t understand why someone would be so against a dress when it’s obvious the bride absolutely loves it. Maybe you think the other dress looked slightly better but she didn’t like that one and she loves this one. You!re just gonna make her feel bad about the dress she loves or guilt her into picking a dress she doesn’t love. They both look lovely on her, it’s not like one of them doesn’t fit her body shape because they’re both the same style of dress. If you see she loves it so much more then you should just go with it and tell her you think it’s beautiful.
I also preferred the first dress, but I do think she looked lovely in the second. I’ve no doubt that there will be no bunching once her own gown is made and fitted (this was the sample dress).
Both were beautiful and basically the same shape, but since David is a designer, could they not have offered to add some sparkle for an additional cost?
I agree with the bride, I think the second dress definitely looked better on her. The first dress just felt kinda plain. And the back on the second one was nicer.
Its ok to like a less sparkly dress; often sparkle looks dated; what is fresh is to have an understated dress, and then bring in sparkle with the accessories. oooh la la Muah.
The consultant needs more training in my opinion because she’s not really pulling what the girl is asking for and also she keeps saying she wants more sparkles, and she needs to listen to the bride in more intense way
You are stunning!! You have a perfect womanly figure. I am envious. I am 5'2" and short waisted. I was 180lbs at my heaviest have always had what I call a boy figure. I have no defined waist I now weigh 105lbs. I am truly envious of your figure. This is my favorite syttd show. I love to see the brides so radiate and happy when they see how beautiful they are.I love Al and Jo .love to all.😊❤😊❤
I really liked the first dress better than the second one, but I'm not going to be wearing it. If she likes the second one more than the first, so be it.
It could be so simple to add sparkle to the first dress! I can't believe it wasn't suggested 😮 BUT, the bride looked absolutely beautiful in both dresses. All the very best to her ❤
While I preferred the look of dress 1, it was 600 quid over her budget!! If it had been within budget, she could have had extra beading stitched on, but it was 50% over her pricepoint and should never have been out on her or shown in the first place. This shop is the absolute worst for doing that. Stop doing it!
Both my grandmothers behaved that way - and my heart did break repeatedly - fortunately, both of my grandfathers were wonderful saints - so they saved me. @7 minutes in... seeing the joy on her granddaughter's face, the nan says, "No... not at all ... " as if her granddaughters feelings were 100% irrelevant - that's where the cruelty came in ... all the grandmother cared about was what she wanted while the young bride was 100% irrelevant ... Those that comment below to express their insensitivity to this blatant crushing of emotions are exposing their own lack of empathy for the young bride. Grandmother did clap at the bride's choice, but it was more of a reflex because the others were clapping while all the grandmother cared about was her own self - completely disregarding the happiness of the bride.
But all she did is disagree.. so being dishonest is more acceptable now?? She's not even slightly mean about it, she just said she likes the first dress better.
Why are you bothering me with this. I didn't even want to wear a dress y be fake dress up and married the man you love and I had a total of 6 people when I was married and dress my ex now actually bought me at Christmas a year or two before cause I was talked out of jeans and a t-shirt my normal attire and if their was going to be more then 10 at reception I'd of never married to many people.
What,,,it's ridiculous such a big affair over two people getting married really that's how I see it. So if that what's for me it's just people looking for EXTRA gifts. Really it's nice to share with close family your day but any more then 10 I'd of walked the dress well got talked into it, just seemed fake. And you can tell I'm not a fan of many people around me,,yea might be a flaw in me but just to break the bank on a wedding or sweet 16. Oh we paid for our Justice of the Peace and then had me my mom, and dad ,my now ex ,his parents, and best man, and maid of honor, went had a great small reception total of 8 people yes my mother and father paid but to clear out their bank account I wouldn't of done. Does that clear up the what?
Kudos to this bride for standing up for herself & what she wanted ❤
I really liked the first dress on her better. Maybe if they had added a belt with bling it would have been the finishing touch. The first dress just seemed like a better fit for her.
I agree, but I have an idea the back of the dress was too low to use a belt.
@@cornishmaid9138 that’s when they can sew it on the half front 🤷🏻♀️
Dress 1 was way over budget. Both dresses are beautiful though.
Maybe some jewelry or a crown or something would have given that first dress the sparkle she was looking for.
Totally agree!
They are so similar dresses with such a small difference. They both looked really nice on her and she couldn't make any wrong choice there.
I don’t know what they saw in the first dress. The second one was the prettier one.
I’m glad she chose what made her happy. But, I think the first dress looked prettier on her.
I agree with Gran. LOL that first dress just fit her better , both are beautiful, too bad the first one has no way to add the sparkle.
First gown was beautiful on her.
My dad always said " opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has one and each thinks everyone else's stinks" . I pick what I want, am comfortable in and what I think suits me. Mom, MIL and nan had their day, today is THIS bride's day.
Your dad was a wise man ...lol 😆
The first dress did look very nice on her, but it was over £1800, and her budget was £1200!
I think the heavier lace suited her better, although they were very similar dresses.
The first dress was outside her budget. Her entourage could have offered to pay for the difference.
I have to believe that the shop could have found a way to sew beads or sequins on the first dress to give the bride the sparkle she wanted. David could have emphasized how that would give her a truly one-of-a-kind dress - great selling point. The first dress was a much better choice than the second.
That would’ve taken her way over budget though
Both dresses look really nice on her.
I love the second dress and I’m very happy she picked the one she wanted. It was beautiful.

I like the 2nd dress on her . Lovely! ♥️
I wouldn't try on a dress without knowing the price
Especially in this store!
Very true especially with David holding the reins...."only slightly over budget"". Well ok David you pay the difference hahaha
The ball gown style with demure illusion top is very attractive. And the prices are so reasonable!
Finally a bride that puts her foot down. It’s a beautiful choice the bride made
The first dress is so beautiful!! The second dress is very pretty too!
Very similar dresses- she looked amazing in both of them
I loved the first dress.
“Firery little soul” is one way to put it. 😮
Entourages are the number one reason brides end up picking a dress they regret.
I love the first dress and it's something I would wear. The 2nd dress was similar but for some reason it didn't look as amazing. It's too bad the first dress didn't have more bling.

that dress choose you!
Looking beautyfull!!!
I loved the one she picked.
Not a fan of either, but I am sure she'd be lovely in any dress they had. She's gorgeous.
I don’t understand why someone would be so against a dress when it’s obvious the bride absolutely loves it. Maybe you think the other dress looked slightly better but she didn’t like that one and she loves this one. First dress was better, they were right 🤷🏼♀️....the “chest plate” on the second one was too plain and bunched when she slouched.
I also preferred the first dress, but I do think she looked lovely in the second. I’ve no doubt that there will be no bunching once her own gown is made and fitted (this was the sample dress).
Very impressed that she stood firm against her dominant grandmother
I prefer the second one.
Never understood the complaint about not enough bling - you can always add some.
Both were beautiful and basically the same shape, but since David is a designer, could they not have offered to add some sparkle for an additional cost?
The second dress looked so much better than the first one. She choosed the right dress. ✅️
Her Nana "grandmother" is so elegant more than I do 😅
She could stand to have her hair recoloured
It's terrible looking! Looks like a helmet with all that starch in the hair
Grandma is Sharon Osborne look alike😆
She can add sparkle to the first dress.
I adore Nana
Nanny sounds like Estelle Winwood from the movie Darbie O'Gill & the Little People!
I love Nan!
I agree with the bride. So far the 2nd dress is prettier.
Price differential is important tooo
I liked this dresss than the 1st one ❤
I also, preferred the first dress on her - the top brought the eyes upward, the second dress' top wasn't as flattering.
First dress is not blingy yet it is stunning.
Did she just say "You look like an old maid" excuse meee whatt 💀
I agree with the bride, I think the second dress definitely looked better on her. The first dress just felt kinda plain. And the back on the second one was nicer.
I like the dress she got.Its beautiful.
Its ok to like a less sparkly dress; often sparkle looks dated; what is fresh is to have an understated dress, and then bring in sparkle with the accessories. oooh la la Muah.
The consultant needs more training in my opinion because she’s not really pulling what the girl is asking for and also she keeps saying she wants more sparkles, and she needs to listen to the bride in more intense way
The 1st one was clearly better- she should have retried the 1st with a blingy belt.
Why ask the budget if you don’t go by it?
You are stunning!! You have a perfect womanly figure. I am envious. I am 5'2" and short waisted. I was 180lbs at my heaviest have always had what

Second dress was also almost at budget so......
Been with him from she was 14 😮
I really liked the first dress better than the second one, but I'm not going to be wearing it. If she likes the second one more than the first, so be it.
Oh look yet again the veil changed everything 🙄
It could be so simple to add sparkle to the first dress! I can't believe it wasn't suggested 😮 BUT, the bride looked absolutely beautiful in both dresses. All the very best to her ❤
The grandma suggested a sparkly belt but they all ignored her.
Bling could be added
what are they on about, I can barely tell the two dresses apart.
I think the dress she chose would look better if the neckline beading wasn’t there
While I preferred the look of dress 1, it was 600 quid over her budget!! If it had been within budget, she could have had extra beading stitched on, but it was 50% over her pricepoint and should never have been out on her or shown in the first place. This shop is the absolute worst for doing that. Stop doing it!
I agree with the entourage, the first dress was the one for her.. Shame..
I think the first dress was more over budget anyway.
Nan says it's not to my taste..I saygood you're not eating or wearing it, then.
I wish you nana was on board
My heart would break if my grandma behaved that way.
Both my grandmothers behaved that way - and my heart did break repeatedly - fortunately, both of my grandfathers were wonderful saints - so they saved me. @7 minutes in... seeing the joy on her granddaughter's face, the nan says, "No... not at all ... So you can't tolerate a difference in opinion? Got it. Her grandmother liked a dress she tried on. She preferred that one. Why is that so evil?
Behaved like what? She just didn't like it, she wasn't rude, she wasn't mean, all she said she still liked the other one more
All.she did was say what she.likes
granny is annoying
Can't they just add more beading to the first dress?
Not with it already being over budget.
First gown was way over budget 🤔
Nan is very selfish
Is the lady with no teeth her grandma?😊
They both look the same dress tbh
Why are you bothering me with this.
