I studied your method and concepts completely in this video. It took 6 hours. Then for the next 6 days, I went over your techniques again and again until it became second nature. Thank you so much. Because of your teachings, I’m able to play with all Grip changes ... Western, Eastern, and Continental. The Twist Return and Punch Return and basic hitting concept were the key elements missing in my game. Also, I noticed my footwork improved naturally because my center of gravity is lower due to the bend in my knees and use of the pelvis. These techniques are extraordinary.

Thanks for your comment. Your answer is almost correct. The use of the body is the same for all sports. Dynamic or compact. Despite the characteristics of the competition, the human power is the same. There are many ways to play tennis, but the basic usage is the same. Therefore, the volley is almost compact. Others are dynamic. However, there are dynamic volleys and compact strokes. In reference.
Hi. Could you make English version of this video also? I think this video is very good but Many people don't know Japanese. I watch the serve video with English title and it's very helpful. Thank you so much and I expect next version of English title.
Kunio-san, Thank for your newly uploading video clip. I can't fully understand what you said due to language problem, but I am always waiting for your teaching video.
Dear Coach Kunio, thank you very much for your videos!they are simple yet effective, and i'm really improving a lot thanks to your teachings. Please keep up with this great work, it's the best! Thank you very much, Cheers from Italy
surely. Because my ability is not enough. Your suggestions motivate me. I am working on a new video. In the future, I will do my best to provide more understandable methods. Thank you.
Your videos are best I've ever seen. Can you help me to answer 2 question: 1. Should I grip the racquet firm or lose 2. Should I lock the wirst (with lose grip or with firm grip) For all my shots Thank you so much!!!
Nguyen Hoai Anh Thank you for your comment. I will answer the question. 1. Basic I will grip firmly. However, when you hit an object in the tool, when you can playing your instrument, You can loosen sometimes, you should be or firm. 2. Basic wrist I will lock. It changes when you change the orientation of the racket face, but do not let the output in the list work. Thereby causing faults. Please refer to your future.
Great video but this answer in which you promote "firm", even locked wrist, baffles me. It is against modern principles and those you also preach under your twist and return instruction: stay loose, also from the wrist to make all the needed twists and returns to happen in the kinetic chain.
Please comment on selecting the proper tennis racket in regard to swing weight. I’ve found that controlling the racket control/speed during the serve sequence.has been a process related to the proper racket selection-weight SW. What are your racket specifications for your racket of choice? Thank you, your website is my favorite go to site for my tennis.
Hi Inoue, nice the new method. I'm trying study and apply in my games. Do you have one recommendations or drills for old players like me, with a lot of vices in the games. Thanks in advanced for you attention.
Hi, I really like your videos, they are a great help for me, I would like to know the name of the thing you use in 7:25 minutes or where to buy it thank you
Thank you for contacting me. I will explain Miracle Tennis. My company does not sell miracle tennis. You should contact Miracle Tennis directly. Sales site tennis-wall.shop/ Thank you.
I think your method is good for compact stroke, but it is lacking the smooth follow through. For example Federer forehand is a complete follow through without any twist return. Nadal FH is more a twist return style.
+Hung Phan Thank you for your comment. As it is said, Federer forward, Nadal follow-through in the rear. However, in order to accelerate either of follow-through also racket head, I will "twist return" the movement of the body. It is after the sudden braking of the car, the same as the phenomenon in which the body is thrown forward. Also it stopped somewhere, in some part is the physical that energy remains. "Twist return" is sudden braking. If the racket is accelerating, it is everywhere the same follow-through.
Thanks for your comment. I love Yonex. All tools are Yonex. My racket is VCORE Si98 (G3 305g 2014) VCORE SV98 (G3 305g 2016) VCORE 98 (G3 305g 2018) Please refer to it.
Inoue san ~ thanks your all good lessons. but I couldn't understand what 'punch return' is exactly... would you explain it more simply for me? and if it is in korean more helpful also ....... ^^ Arigato Kogaimasu...
+이강토여 Comments and questions Thank you. And, I'm sorry less explanation. It is about the "punch return", but say a physical There is law that "previous force is applied later to those of". After the sudden braking of the car, it is a phenomenon which the body is thrown forward. "Punch return" is not important to back stab, punch return might mean that accelerate brake to the body, the speed of the subsequent racket head. Of course, if you change the acceleration of top spin by swinging the racket head or reverse shot upward, and drop volley, half-volley is decelerating the head speed, there is also a sense that swung in the minus direction. Tennis various swing changes in the situation. Video insufficient explanation of, sorry, "Physically learn, psychologically learn" in the sense that, than it looks, let's prioritize the effect and feel. Professional, good people I think are not dealing with a well use racket body. Bad person, rather than to deal with racquet and directed attention to moving the body like appearance. Thank you.
Thank you for contacting me. I will explain Miracle Tennis. My company does not sell miracle tennis. You should contact Miracle Tennis directly. Sales site tennis-wall.shop/ Thank you.
Hi Inoue ! Thanks for your great videos. In this one, at the beginning, the returns of serve are announced but i haven't seen this particular subject developped. Have you got another video (even if not translated in english) specifically upon "serve returns" ?
+TheLordmaxwell Thanks for your comment. Indeed, in this video, there is no video of the "return". I'm sorry. However,: as in "24:05~",: in the section "improve your ball sense" of "18:30~", it describes the aim of the "return". Please try to reference.
+inoue kunio (アイアップテニスI-UPTENNIS) Yes please!! Upload a new video, my net game improved a lot! My touch / drop shots / slice have all become incredible! Thank you a lot!! But I'm having a hard time understanding the forehand ~ twist return, I don't hit a good topspin, my main stroke lacks more spin + speed. Please explain your baseline forehand motion, and what is your forehand grip? Thank you!! You are the best!
Thanks for sharing that great explanation about playing tennis, you act like you do taichi chuan :D, just have one question about net play what should I do against fast coming balls ?
I appreciate your comment & question. Tennis is a sport that impacts objects with tools. I compared it to a drum, but the basic is OK if it gives a shock. You can shock the object with a big hammer, but with a big hammer it is difficult to move quickly. In such a case you will use a small hammer. It is difficult to give a strong shock, but it is easy to do it quickly and continuously. Let's first treat the racket compactly and give a small shock. If it still becomes unstable, I think that the feeling of pushing is good. I hope your net play will be improved.
Ong Chin Hoong Thank you for your comment. I'll do my best caption input. And, please watch also videos recently uploaded shot practice tool. ruclips.net/video/-FHdpsEUyXo/видео.html Best regards.
Hi again Sensei Kunio. Could you give some information about string type and tension? Which tension (kg) and string type is better to play good tennis? Does one or two piece better? Thank you.
Engin Emsen Thank you for the question. My string is polyester. Yonex "PTGP125" Tension, 48Lbs. This string is a soft polyester. When the video is 48Lbs. However, Now is 53Lbs. How to stretch the string is one. It is stretched in the Around the World. Best regards.
Thank you for your comments & questions. I will answer the previous comments as well. I have not seen your play, so I do not know if your play is old. However, there are advice that apply to all players. Tennis is hard to get upset. In most cases, a winner will win and a loser will lose. Therefore, the basic is important for mastering skills. Basically, form is also important, in addition to physical strength, endurance, thinking, mind and so on. Players who hit as surely as possible and hit the ball with good probability are hard to lose. Please do not forget the above-mentioned thought please play. About elbow pain, this has various causes. I have not seen your play about this, so I will make general comments. Tools (racket) is not for you to move, you move your body. Swing is not done by you, but it can be sent to your body. People who handle rackets themselves will put a strain on their arms. But good players do not move their arms yourself. It will be sent to the body so that it will be. Before practicing, please watch my video once more. I wish you good luck.
Thank you for the question. How to move your body (how to play tennis) needs to understand "how humans exert power". "Human beings hit objects with tools". Please once again watch the video on the basis of the understanding.
Kunio-san at the 8:00 mark you show a portable "backboard " to practice you strokes...could you tell me the name of that? is that a global brand or available only in Japan....that looks really cool! Thanks for the video
Subbu Deivanayagam Questions Thank you very much. This is a practice instrument called "Miracle tennis". Since always the same ball the returning, it is very convenient if you want to practice a closed skills. miracletennis.jp/ It is. Thank you.
Sunil Khemchand Yes, it is okay. Now, I am preparing a publicity video and sales system. And it will be soon published in RUclips. Please wait for a while.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I am using the way of holding a variety of grip. Places that require reach, serve, net play, the back of the impact point, It uses a thin grip on that case. Before the body, top spin stroke, of thick impact volley, I am using a thicker grip on that case. It is flexible in the TPO. nice to meet you.
Hellow, Mr, inoue kunio. I saw the your tennis teaching video about tennis service. I think that's the most useful thing that I have seen about the tennis service. But, I couldn't understand this lesson at some point. Especially, you said that the forehand swing and the service swing is the same. I knew the forehand is the pronation, but the service is the supination, these are different. What do you think about ?
Sunghan Park Thank you for comment. I can not speak English well. I'm sorry. Explanation is a difficult, but ..., Forehand of force is "supination ⇒ pronation". Therefore, serve is also "supination ⇒ pronation". ruclips.net/video/H9dwVMEEDk0/видео.html#t=05m44s I call it a "twist return". "Supination and pronation" of the forearm, it is important to all of the shot. Most importantly, it is it that, instead of in "to yourself," "to encourage so as to be on yourself." I'm glad if become a reference.
I am using Semi-western grip. if I want to hit flat ball when i am standing in the mid court, which method would be better? 1. Hit the ball in the middle of Gurun circle with same grip 2. change to eastern grip and hit the ball Plus, if using 1st method, i guess swing has less power. what do you think?
Thank you for the question. "1" is okay. It is not necessary to thin grip. To give power to the ball ..., ○ Increase Gurun circle ○ To emphasize the form from the elbow to the ball ○ Dorsiflexion of the wrist I wish you good luck.
Thanks for your prompt response. I wish there would be more Eng subtitle video so that more tennis players in the world can share your top class lesson!
Hello. Thank you for contacting me. I will explain Miracle Tennis. My company does not sell miracle tennis. You should contact Miracle Tennis directly. Sales site tennis-wall.shop/ Thank you.

Fantastic videos.

Twist return is for topspin forehand and backhand, and punch return is for volleys. Did I get this right? Thanks!

Thank You very much! for your video!! I hope to someone translate this video into English or Korean PLZ~

Your videos are best I've ever seen. Can you help me to answer 2 question:
1. Should I grip the racquet firm or lose
2. Should I lock the wirst (with lose grip or with firm grip)
For all my shots
Thank you so much!!!
Nguyen Hoai Anh
Thank you for your comment.
I will answer the question.
1. Basic I will grip firmly.
However, when you hit an object in the tool, when you can playing your instrument,
You can loosen sometimes, you should be or firm.
Congratulations... very good !!

Please comment on selecting the proper tennis racket in regard to swing weight. I’ve found that controlling the racket control/speed during the serve sequence.has been a process related to the proper racket selection-weight SW. I think your method is good for compact stroke, but it is lacking the smooth follow through. For example Federer forehand is a complete follow through without any twist return. Nadal FH is more a twist return style.
+Hung Phan
Thank you for your comment.
As it is said,
Federer forward, Nadal follow-through in the rear.
If the racket is accelerating, it is everywhere the same follow-through.
hi, nice information. Thank you. what is your racket model? It looks very light and powerful. Please let me know. I want to buy it.
Thanks for your comment.

but I couldn't understand what 'punch return' is exactly...
would you explain it more simply for me? and if it is in korean more helpful also ....... ^^
Arigato Kogaimasu...
+이강토여
Comments and questions Thank you.
Video insufficient explanation of, sorry,
"Physically learn, psychologically learn" in the sense that, than it looks, let's prioritize the effect and feel.
Professional, good people I think are not dealing with a well use racket body.
Bad person, rather than to deal with racquet and directed attention to moving the body like appearance.
Thank you.

Hi Inoue ! Thanks for your great videos. In this one, at the beginning, the returns of serve are announced but i haven't seen this particular subject developped. Have you got another video (even if not translated in english) specifically upon "serve returns" ?

Thanks for your comment.
Indeed, in this video, there is no video of the "return". I'm sorry.
However,: as in "24:05~",: in the section "improve your ball sense" of "18:30~", it describes the aim of the "return".
Please try to reference.

I hope your net play will be improved.
inoue kunio Thanks, I will try next time when in the court. Have a nice weekend bro.

Hi again Sensei Kunio. Could you give some information about string type and tension? Which tension (kg) and string type is better to play good tennis? Does one or two piece better? Thank you.
Engin Emsen
Thank you for the question.
My string is polyester.
Yonex "PTGP125"
Tension, 48Lbs.
This string is a soft polyester.
When the video is 48Lbs. However, Now is 53Lbs.
How to stretch the string is one.
It is stretched in the Around the World.
Best regards.
inoue kunio Thank you for your helpful explanation. I look forward to your new videos.
Hi Inoue, I'm from Brazilian and I'm studing your methods .. In this moment I having problems with tennis elbow... Your methods are can be affect?

I don't understand what is meant by twist return on the forehand, can coach or someone please explain?
Thank you for the question.
How to move your body (how to play tennis) needs to understand "how humans exert power".
"Human beings hit objects with tools".
Please once again watch the video on the basis of the understanding.
Kunio-san at the 8:00 mark you show a portable "backboard " to practice you strokes...could you tell me the name of that? is that a global brand or available only in Japan....that looks really cool! Thanks for the video

Now, I am preparing a publicity video and sales system.
And it will be soon published in RUclips.
Please wait for a while.
are you changing your grip on the FH swing orbit for different spins???
Thank you for your comment.
Yes,
I am using the way of holding a variety of grip.
Places that require reach, serve, net play, the back of the impact point,
It uses a thin grip on that case.
Before the body, top spin stroke, of thick impact volley,
I am using a thicker grip on that case.
It is flexible in the TPO.
nice to meet you.
+inoue kunio (アイアップテニスI-UPTENNIS) thanks for this explanation, nice meeting you too! 🙌
Sunghan Park He doesn't speak English, hense the music.
TNToncourt
thanks! what do you think about my opinion?
Sunghan Park Keep watching the videos!! haha.
Sunghan Park
Thank you for comment.
I can not speak English well. I'm sorry.
Explanation is a difficult, but ...,
Forehand of force is "supination ⇒ pronation".
Therefore, serve is also "supination ⇒ pronation".
ruclips.net/video/H9dwVMEEDk0/видео.html#t=05m44s
I call it a "twist return".
"Supination and pronation" of the forearm, it is important to all of the shot.
Most importantly, it is it that, instead of in "to yourself," "to encourage so as to be on yourself."
I'm glad if become a reference.
I am using Semi-western grip. if I want to hit flat ball when i am standing in the mid court, which method would be better?
1. Hit the ball in the middle of Gurun circle with same grip
2. change to eastern grip and hit the ball
Plus, if using 1st method, i guess swing has less power. what do you think?
Thank you for the question.
"1" is okay.
It is not necessary to thin grip.
To give power to the ball ...,
○ Increase Gurun circle
○ To emphasize the form from the elbow to the ball
○ Dorsiflexion of the wrist
I wish you good luck.
Thanks for your prompt response.
I wish there would be more Eng subtitle video so that more tennis players in the world can share your top class lesson!
