I studied your method and concepts completely in this video. It took 6 hours. Then for the next 6 days, I went over your techniques again and again until it became second nature. Thank you so much. Because of your teachings, I’m able to play with all Grip changes ... Western, Eastern, and Continental. The Twist Return and Punch Return and basic hitting concept were the key elements missing in my game. Also, I noticed my footwork improved naturally because my center of gravity is lower due to the bend in my knees and use of the pelvis. These techniques are extraordinary.

Thank you very much for exploring.
      Sports are various.
      There are various tennis shots.
However, human muscles and joints are common.
So, how to put out the power is the same.
There is personality in size, strength.
There is a wide variety of forms, but the basic way of expressing power is the same.
I would like to convey a method in an easy-to-understand manner.
      Thank you.

      読みの良さもですが、インパクトの範囲が広いとも言えます。
      ベストな形でベストな打点、タイミングで打球することも大切ですが、多少ズレていても、アベレージを続けられる余裕を持ち合わせたいです。
      というわけで、今の感覚、引き続き頑張ってみて下さい(^^)

    素振りやラリーとかの動画だとラケットの動きを見てしまうから基本的な動作でも真似しづらかったりする。でもこの動画はラケットを持たずに腕の動きだけを見せるシーンが入ってる。非常にわかりやすいです。

      @inouekunio3162  8 лет назад

      コメント大変ありがとうございます。
      おっしゃられるようにボールのコントロールはラケットのコントロールですが、それをコントロールするのは身体や腕です。よって道具の扱い方が「良い打ち方」と言えると思います。

Could not agree more. I almost prefer watching this style on RUclips tennis instruction that I have never seen or heard from a Western tennis pro. It really makes sense to use concept of momentum To amplify contact speed. Is it somehow derived from badminton which is very popular in the Orient ? This player is smoooooth. Thanks for videos.

I am 70 years old and self taught Tenness player. Your videos are the best ever. I watch a lot and work hard on learning your Gurun method.
My questions are first on the grip you use for Serve, Forhand and Back Hand ? I suffer with a bad right wrist and love the forearm rotation but it looks at times that your wrist snaps over on serve. Thank You so much for helping me learn and enjoy my Tenness. Also I want to buy a Miracle rebounder can you help ?

      Thanks for your comment.
I am glad that I can help you.
      About the wrist,
The wrist is in the basic, dorsiflexion state.
Especially at the point of hitting, the wrist will dorsiflex in all shots.
There are times when the wrists move for relaxation before or after the hit point.
However, the wrist dorsiflexes and fixes at the point of hitting.
      Please be careful with it.
      I pray for your progress.

Twist return is for topspin forehand and backhand, and punch return is for volleys. Did I get this right? Thanks!

    • @inouekunio3162
      @inouekunio3162  5 лет назад

      Thanks for your comment.
      Your answer is almost correct.
The use of the body is the same for all sports.
      Dynamic or compact.
Despite the characteristics of the competition, the human power is the same.
There are many ways to play tennis, but the basic usage is the same.
Therefore, the volley is almost compact. Others are dynamic.
However, there are dynamic volleys and compact strokes.
      In reference.

      2. Basic wrist I will lock.

Great video but this answer in which you promote "firm", even locked wrist, baffles me. It is against modern principles and those you also preach under your twist and return instruction: stay loose, also from the wrist to make all the needed twists and returns to happen in the kinetic chain.

I think your method is good for compact stroke, but it is lacking the smooth follow through. For example Federer forehand is a complete follow through without any twist return. Nadal FH is more a twist return style.

      Thank you for your comment.
      As it is said,
Federer forward, Nadal follow-through in the rear.
However, in order to accelerate either of follow-through also racket head, I will "twist return" the movement of the body.
It is after the sudden braking of the car, the same as the phenomenon in which the body is thrown forward.
Also it stopped somewhere, in some part is the physical that energy remains.
      "Twist return" is sudden braking.
If the racket is accelerating, it is everywhere the same follow-through.

      Comments and questions Thank you.
      And, I'm sorry less explanation.
It is about the "punch return", but say a physical There is law that "previous force is applied later to those of".
After the sudden braking of the car, it is a phenomenon which the body is thrown forward.
"Punch return" is not important to back stab, punch return might mean that accelerate brake to the body, the speed of the subsequent racket head.
Of course, if you change the acceleration of top spin by swinging the racket head or reverse shot upward, and drop volley, half-volley is decelerating the head speed, there is also a sense that swung in the minus direction.
Tennis various swing changes in the situation.
      Video insufficient explanation of, sorry,
"Physically learn, psychologically learn" in the sense that, than it looks, let's prioritize the effect and feel.
Professional, good people I think are not dealing with a well use racket body.
Bad person, rather than to deal with racquet and directed attention to moving the body like appearance.
      Thank you.

    • @inouekunio3162

I appreciate your comment & question.
Tennis is a sport that impacts objects with tools.
I compared it to a drum, but the basic is OK if it gives a shock.
You can shock the object with a big hammer, but with a big hammer it is difficult to move quickly.
In such a case you will use a small hammer.
It is difficult to give a strong shock, but it is easy to do it quickly and continuously.
Let's first treat the racket compactly and give a small shock.
If it still becomes unstable, I think that the feeling of pushing is good.
I hope your net play will be improved.

      基本、どんな時でもしっかりヒットorインパクトは大事だと思います。
      言葉のとらえ方はとてもデリケートなのですが、「強く=思い切って、弱く=手加減して」ではないということを表現しています。
      なので、ひねり戻すや叩く感覚は押すや運ぶなどとは対になりますが、どんな時でもしっかりヒットしている感じが大事ということです。
      例えになるかどうかですが、習字のときの筆圧などと似ているかもです。

      @inouekunio3162  7 лет назад

Thank you for your comments & questions.
I will answer the previous comments as well.
I have not seen your play, so I do not know if your play is old.
However, there are advice that apply to all players.
Tennis is hard to get upset.
In most cases, a winner will win and a loser will lose.
Therefore, the basic is important for mastering skills.
Basically, form is also important, in addition to physical strength, endurance, thinking, mind and so on.
Players who hit as surely as possible and hit the ball with good probability are hard to lose.
Please do not forget the above-mentioned thought please play.
About elbow pain, this has various causes.
I have not seen your play about this, so I will make general comments.
Tools (racket) is not for you to move, you move your body.
Swing is not done by you, but it can be sent to your body.
People who handle rackets themselves will put a strain on their arms.
But good players do not move their arms yourself.
It will be sent to the body so that it will be.
Before practicing, please watch my video once more.
      I wish you good luck.

      Thank you for the question.
How to move your body (how to play tennis) needs to understand "how humans exert power".
"Human beings hit objects with tools".
Please once again watch the video on the basis of the understanding.

      Thank you for your comment.
      Yes,
I am using the way of holding a variety of grip.
Places that require reach, serve, net play, the back of the impact point,
It uses a thin grip on that case.
Before the body, top spin stroke, of thick impact volley,
I am using a thicker grip on that case.
It is flexible in the TPO.
      nice to meet you.

    Hellow, Mr, inoue kunio.
I saw the your tennis teaching video about tennis service. I think that's the most useful thing that I have seen about the tennis service.
But, I couldn't understand this lesson at some point.
Especially, you said that the forehand swing and the service swing is the same.
I knew the forehand is the pronation, but the service is the supination, these are different. What do you think about ?

      Sunghan Park
      Thank you for comment.
I can not speak English well. I'm sorry.
Explanation is a difficult, but ...,
Forehand of force is "supination ⇒ pronation".
Therefore, serve is also "supination ⇒ pronation".
      ruclips.net/video/H9dwVMEEDk0/видео.html#t=05m44s
I call it a "twist return".
"Supination and pronation" of the forearm, it is important to all of the shot.
Most importantly, it is it that, instead of in "to yourself," "to encourage so as to be on yourself."
I'm glad if become a reference.

I am using Semi-western grip. if I want to hit flat ball when i am standing in the mid court, which method would be better?
    1. Hit the ball in the middle of Gurun circle with same grip
    2. change to eastern grip and hit the ball
Plus, if using 1st method, i guess swing has less power. what do you think?

    • @inouekunio3162
      @inouekunio3162  7 лет назад

      Thank you for the question.
      "1" is okay.
It is not necessary to thin grip.
To give power to the ball ...,
      ○ Increase Gurun circle
      ○ To emphasize the form from the elbow to the ball
      ○ Dorsiflexion of the wrist
      I wish you good luck.
