well this is awesome - as a kite addict myself - I am now going to obsess over this until I try it, living in Alaska the season for something like this is quite short. Based on the limited research I have gleaned from watching your content - the setup isn't cheap. I have often wondered if I could somehow manage to use a stand up paddleboard with a dual line kite pulling me around? thought?
@@PacificSky well you just saved me a few thousand dollars and an entire season of trying this I've sent this video to everyone in my network that would be as impressed as I was and also crave the same thing. I must ad the pov of your camera combined with the contrast of the landscape and kite make for exhilarating cinematography. Do you know what ASMR videos are? Lol look it up
So I already have a trianer and a few flex foils. So your telling me not to go buy an inflatable kayak and or standup paddle board. And just go with a kite surfing set-up. ? Maybe I'll wait for winter and start snow kiting on the lakes with a snowbaorad?
@@amycuaresma At this point Kitekayaking is not fully developed. It may be in the future so yes, snow kiting would be a great way to start. Kitesurfing is well established so you may be able to train somewhere in Alaska this summer!
Excellent kite control!
Thankyou!

It was a good experience to research wind energy. Kite kayaking is extremely challenging. Kitesurfing is the way to sail with a kite :)

We tried the stand up paddleboard with a trainer kite. It is almost impossible :)
Can this be done with a framed kite and no modifications?
Yes, however the reel system is currently not available for purchase. If we offer the reel system again, would you be interested?
@@PacificSky seeing as it would be something I use very rarely, I don't think so. But it has made me curious.
Kite link pls
sorry, this kite is no longer produced.
I think , the kite should be more stable)
A trick : you can watch series on Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Keenan Malcolm Definitely, have been watching on flixzone} for months myself =)
Start at 4 pp
Didn’t need 5 mins of paddling
Yes, thank you, just fast forward the paddling. If we add a centerboard and a bigger kite we could sail upwind.
