  • We are building a 62 impala for David Cryderman using an Art Morrison chassis, LT4, Wilwood brakes, and Schott wheels. This is some of the progress we have made and will post more as progress continues!

Thumbs up for having James in the video. He's been doing this for a long time and is a master at his workmanship.

Looking forward to more posts. Did you have to modify the hood to fit the LT4

No sir not for this one. I regret that the customer had already bought an art Morrison chassis cause the engine could go back to the firewall more and leave us more room for a different radiator but with it. The radiator is for an LS as they do not make anything LT4 specific for the impala yet.

@@potogoldkustoms Thanks for reply, Any pictures of the front hood clearance, i am working on same set, but only in planning stage? Did the Morrison chassis not sit the LT back far enough to use different radiators??

@@paulgregerson3091 not in my opinion and we had to use steering limiters for the rack and pinion for tire clearance and headers has been fun as well. The first set touched the control arms. Any aftermarket chassis will require floor modifications as well.

@@potogoldkustoms what size wheels did you go with? would of the Morrison headers they sell done anything? What headers worked?

@@paulgregerson3091 we have a 265 front tire and 295 rear tire. I do not know the wheel specs as the owner already had them. I dont know the company for the headers as the owner also purchased those with the chassis build. They had to shorten them up for ground clearance and make room for suspension clearance too. Long tube headers. Just bring us the car and we can do it for you! Take the guess work out...
