I've seen SpongeBob once. I've never seen anything so ridiculous in all my life. And Little kids watch this stuff. No wonder kids have issues these days. JMO. Have a great day everyone.
I disagree with Link on the Guac ravioli. Ravioli is always covered with a sauce or in the case of fried/toasted ravioli they give you marina on the side for dipping. It's not admitting defeat at all. Rhett should have stuck to his "yes". I blame the arch!
It’s once again the neurodivergency. The association to ravioli and sauce is overcome by the association to Japanese dishes and sauce. Also, he struggles with explaining himself properly, and probably doesn’t like the Guac sauce but does like the Japanese sauce.
His point wasnt that sauce is bad. His point was that you shouldnt have to put extra guac on the outside for it to be good when the whole point of the dish was that it had guac on the inside. And he has a point.
I'm pretty sure that they had a deep fried dessert ravioli (stuffed with fruit filling and served with ice cream) at one point. It's actually a pretty common dish at Italian restaurants.
They definitely had a deep fried dessert ravioli at Macaroni Grill at one point. Filled with snickers candy bar. Drizzled in caramel sauce. So rich but so good!
@@loonathesquare_up22 they did a will it ramen but I don’t remember it being an instant ramen kind of thing it was just a genuinely authentic Japanese ramen
That's a really cool idea. Parathas have like fillings in them so Josh and the mythical kitchen can get really creative for that episode if they do one in future.
As a STL native and junior at WashU with the first day of classes tomorrow - watching GMM to wind down during the last night of winter break - I guess it’s time to cry now.
Literally a day or two before this episode I found myself wondering, "Has GMM done a Will it Lasagna? They should. Wait, I think they have." Well, my brain must have been wandering in the neighborhood, apparently.
Josh: "We made a weird ravioli to look like saltwater taffy. We stuffed with it's corresponding flavors of saltwater taffy and we boiled it in extra saltwater to make extra salty saltwater taffy saltwater." HAHAHA
As a St. Louis native, I speak for everyone when I say Josh is 100% right. Toasted ravs are our pride and joy. The arch is just a large, silver half of the McDonald's M.
St. Louis is AWESOME! I love living here. We brought not just ravioli, but provel cheese pizza, Nelly, SZA. We have amazing free museums for kids and one of the largest city parks in America. I love it here.
There's a restaurant called Gingham's in St. Charles (about 20 minutes outside of St. Louis) that has toasted guacamole very similar to that. And they're delicious, I can confirm.
My grandfather was actually one of the workers that built the arch. I'm so happy that Josh could nullify probably the most amazing project he ever worked on with just a few words.
I think the arch is really cool, but I've never been inside it... Though I think I was just outside of it while Rhett and Link were in it. I think it's smaller on the inside.
Episode idea: Rhett and Link revisit dishes that they were split on. It revisits some of the dishes to determine once and for all, is it good or not. The people need to know! LOL
Glad to see Good Mythical Morning back for Season 23 jeez you guys have been on going for a while now, you guys always get my mornings started before work. Heres a toast to the Episodes and Seasons to come.
Apparently Josh didn't bother to explore the historical reasons behind the arch. St. Louis was a huge resource for almost every pioneer family heading to settle in the west. Those families built half the country as we now know it. Without supplies they bought in St. Louis their journey would have been even harder than it was. The arch represents the gateway to the west.
I've missed the episodes where they suffer from nasty food lol. This one was great! Do natto stop making these 😂 Also, Link doing old guy impressions, preferably with southern accent, is great too
I think a fun episode would be a “Will it… redemption” where Josh try’s to recreate failed foods like chips and guac ravioli to change their minds.
Yes!!!
They've done that with the blood taco at least. Look up Will It Taco (reheated) and at the end, they redo the blood taco from the very first Will It.

The food changed drastically when they introduced Josh, like almost instantly.
I miss the boiled for safety bit. And Link gagging at the nasty stuff. It isn't the same....

Link: Complains about extra Guac.
Also Link: Complains there’s not enough sauce on the ravioli.
That's our Link!
Because it was filled with Guac but also dipped in Guac. It's really not that hard to understand him.
Some sauces are just better than others

I honestly can’t believe Olive Garden hasn’t come up with some dessert ravioli yet. Maybe they did at one point but I just don’t remember.
I'm pretty sure that they had a deep fried dessert ravioli (stuffed with fruit filling and served with ice cream) at one point. It's actually a pretty common dish at Italian restaurants.
It would pair well with their chocolate dessert lasagna.
