      Thanks, Mary! I’m with you, I can’t imagine getting a mansion for a wedding gift and not liking it! Another story worth telling is the story of Margaret Thaw Carnegie’s brother! Look it up if you have time! His name was Harry Kendall Thaw. Talk about a Gilded Age story! Wow…

    Lucy’s approach was very different from her brother in law, who left his daughter and her children with a limited amount of his fortunate giving most of it away instead. He expected them to build their own fortunate.

    We loved our camping trip there 7 years ago. Unfortunately my husband and I.caught Lyme there. :(

    Yeah, never leave your kids more than enough to get on their feet. Burning the cash would be more helpful.
