Thanks. We use a tool data managements system from tdm systems. So wie organize all the 2D, 3D and Feature value data with this software. The included interface to Siemens NX puts all the relevant data into the NX library structure. The 3D Model of the tool is converted from a standard STEP file into an NX file with the relevant information about the cutting and non cutting geometry and the tool center point offset from the spindle nose position.
