I think as freshmen or first year students at Shadow High you start completely greyscale and as you age you find your true color and start becoming more colorful. That’s my theory.
It took me awhile to understand that Uma's supposed color scheme is Ultraviolet. Uma VanHoose -- her initials are U.V.! I do like how many of her pieces are more of an electric blue, tho. And as much as I stan the blue characters, I think she might be my least favorite. Though not by much. Mara and especially Harley are stunning as well. Thank you for sharing, btw. These dolls seem like they're specially designed for doll customizers. They seem like they're trying to corner the market that Monster High dolls covered, since their skin tones seem to match many of their mainline dolls

Great showcase of the dolls. Uma's been my overall favorite since the promo image surfaced. Harley's got some great clothing pieces too. I also appreciate the backdrops used here, sparkling black and diamonds for Harley.

Found Uma at my local Walmart on clearance for 19.99. I grabbed her as my daughter is a HUGE Shadow High fan and especially the dark blue/indigo/purple themed dolls. Win! Your review was spot on! Uma is gorgeous and so are her outfits and accessories.
Loved your very detailed review!! I always wanted to see your impressions on the dolls. To me is very had to pick a favorite... all them 3 have a lot of very cool details to love and are very different from each other enough to see their personalities.. I am still impressed and how this doll line keeps rocking with every new release... BTW When I saw the first photo of them I thought on Pinkie pie and Rarity, but in the end they ended up owning their rocking personas so well that they look very unique.
Canonically SH will win Rainbow Vision but after defeating RH they're agressive approach to finally win will come with a heavy price. I had a Trippy dream that the Rivalry of the two schools will reach it's boiling point that someone higher that Ms Wright (a school superintendent) will decide to merge the feuding schools to teach them the value of teamwork beyond different schools.
Another great review, but i gotta say. Harley is easily my favourite, she's received the most love clearly. Uma has a weird face for me, which is sad, because i adore the colors, and Ms. Pinkie Pie- Mara is just so lazy, like I get the boots are fabric but, cmon. I like pink and black together, i like she has dress but she's so bland to me compare to the others. Each to their own though. Can't wait for them to reveal the K-Pop group that is remaining! K-Pop fashion is always top notch so the inspiration there is unlimited.
Maras Earrings are ...so pointless in my eyes because they are completely lost in her hair...it took me a few reviews to even notice them!... another color would have been better
