Now she's free to "see anybody anytime I want to", including her new boyfriend! All thanks to her new Ford Ranch Wagen. "Its a whole new way of life!" Thanks to Ford! lol
1956 was the halcyon days of the 50s. The middle class could afford two cars and thanks to President Eisenhower's new Interstate Highway building initiatives and a booming economy, the average American family could afford to hit the road by the millions and "see the USA in their new Chevrolets", Fords, and all the other iconic cars of that era. The Golden Age of the American Automobile. 👍😉🇺🇸
I do believe she is on her way to see Gene (AKA "Tex") at 2:00 down at the ranch in her new Ranch Wagon. Ride em cowboy. 😮 Having some fun in the fifties in your fabulous Ford.
Just as well I was only five in 56 if I had of been 25 I would have been in real financial trouble, I would have wanted all of them. Man made works of four wheeled art, yes they had wind noise and more rattles than a spoilt baby but they were fun to drive & seemed to have a personality, when you parked and walked away you looked back to admire the look, cars today look like a washing machine or a refrigerator...
"more rattles than a spoilt baby"............Love It! BTW: my 2019 Mustang convertible does not look like a washing machine or refrigerator. You must be referring to all the crossover and SUVs that look alike. 🙂🤔
@brian critchley I am not even from the era of this car, nor anywhere even close, but I love these 50's cars more than any other era, and i wish so badly i was alive when millions of them cruised the roads every day. But oh well, at least i have my '56 Chevy truck and my '57 Ford Skyliner, those keep me happy. :)
I would have opted for the upper crust Ford Parklane 2 dr. wagon. It was supposed to compete with the Chevy Nomad wagon. It came with a standard 292 (200 hp) cid V-8. 3 speed column shift manual transmission. What a beauty!
She's cute and has a nice little figure doesn't she? Hi! I'm Gene, the guy she's hooking up with at 2 'o clock! I'm sure glad her husband bought that 2nd car! Now she's free to come over every day except Thursday, when he comes home! 👍😉

Sad day today 😢
This is what Detroit was producing the year I was born. 20 different models and two tone paint schemes!

@@rizzlerazzleuno4733 95% of modern cars are ugly if your asking me. Mustangs are not one of them i think.

@@josephg41 You have the best of two worlds. You’re not as old as I am who was a teenager in that era and you have two 50’s Cars.🙂🙂👍

Yea probably wasn't to worried, If I were you I would be more concerned about yourself wearing out...
O.k lady, your boyfriend is waiting for fun.
Wonder how much she liked it when it rusted out two years later.
Ah, she's in SoCal, so no rust for 5 years.................................................................................🙄
Most women of that era just got a pool boy, even if they didn't have a pool
