I was on adventure going back to Galveston on my New Years cruise. The captain said we were goiter have deep waves we just sat in the bar and watched the NFL games the ship was rocking a litter bit. The water was coming out of the pools but we watched football then went up to our stateroom on the 9th deck and sat there for awhile and went to sleep it rocked a little but the ship did good I was impressed with the captain
Great tips Nick! We are taking an Alaskan cruise this October. I know the Gulf Of Alaska can be challenging so we are definitely taking and packing Dramamine...
We went through a much worse storm on my first cruise back in the 90’s. I was a kid and the waves literally were coming over the ship to the promenade deck. The ship was rocking from side to side.
Awesome video Nick! I would have been alittle scared I must say bro!! This has nothing to do with the video but you have a great smile bro and such beautiful perfect white teeth 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁I have experienced one bad storm during a cruise on the Vista out if Galveston awhile back but anyhow thanks again for a great video and don't forget your amazing!!! Looking forward to your next video ❤❤❤
Aside from the medical center often being closed, the OTHER reason to bring seasick medication is that if you buy it in the onboard gift shop, it will cost you a small fortune. Far more than on land. Why? Because they know you need it, they know you're trapped so... it's a seller's market!
Hey Nick. Oh no. Must’ve been really turbulent for you to become sick. That window view not so desirable here. Ok. You just answered my question; the sickbay was closed. Thanks for sharing. 🛳️
I'm crazy about cruise. Thanks God I've never been in this situation, but I can imagine how bad was that!! I'm from Brazil by the way and I love your videos. Byee!!
Yeah buddy, the Gulf in the winter can no fun! On one of my first cruises during the winter we ran into the same weather conditions for the entire cruise from Tampa to Cozumel and back. Made for an interesting cruise to say the least!
Great video Nick! New cruisers should not take their first cruise during hurricane season. You got great footage. Best advice is to always bring some kind of motion sickness medicine with you. I always do!
