I grew-up at the dragstrip's of Southern California back in the 60's, 70's, 80's & as far back as I can recall there's alway's been a Candies & Hughes car! I watched um Win at Lyons, Pomona, Irwindale, OCIR, man oh man, those guy's were tough! 💪 Even their name's were cool, Candies & Hughes, with driver Richard Tharp! Alway's rooted for them, unless Snake or Big Daddy was in the other lane LOL 😉
