During my strolls through the neighbourhood I often wondered if SkyCity Shopping Center would be a great place to implement a weekend night street food court in that huge parking lot. They certainly have a lot of small restaurants there that could make the concept work in the summer.
Check Out My Main Channel for the Full/Replay of My First Time Exploring Scarborough Chinatown and I will definitely go back earlier in the day to find my way around as the first time I went it got really dark in the night. Thanks for watching! Cheers! 🥂ruclips.net/user/liveA383dl5ZYKI?si=ErwWzoVKEZBu9uS5
I never really thought of Scarborough having a Chinatown, given how scattered the community is. Just throw a rock anywhere within the boarders of Warden to Morningside, and Eglinton to Steeles, where you'll land would be at least within a 5-10min walking distance to a Chinese business. There are so many congregation centers of varying sizes for these businesses, narrowing down a "Chinatown" in Scarborough is kind of hard. I did Full House a number of years ago for CNY. A great pick for sure. But i'm more partial to Blooming Gardens at the Woodside Square mall (Finch and McCowan) or Granduer Palace at the Chartwell Centre (Brimley and Huntingwood). SkyCity is worth a visit, especially if you do a food crawl (something i've intended to do for a long while). Theres just so much there.
Check out the link of the Full/Replay of my first time exploring "Scarborough Chinatown" I would call it Chinatown even though it's spread out. I am from downtown Toronto, I remember my mom would call it Scarborough Chinatown, this is way before Markham, Richmond Hill and Mississauga Chinatown. ruclips.net/user/liveA383dl5ZYKI?si=ErwWzoVKEZBu9uS5 That livestream I walked to a couple of Chinatown Plazas, the downfall for me is I don't drive so it was a long walk and stream. I got off the wrong stop and it took me an hour to walk into the area 🤦🏻♀️ I should make a point of going back soon before the winter comes as it gets dark fast. Thank you so much for watching and giving me your POV, cheers! 🥂
Kennedy - south of Hwy 7, 16th and Leslie, anywhere west of Beaver Creek and 7, to Bayview. The corner of Yonge and Glen Cameron. Just teeming with Chinese people. Then there's Bayview north of Steeles. Yonge and Doncaster. I can't imagine what Rich man Hill/Markham will look like in 20 years from now. So much shopping and eating.
According to Google Maps it is Scarborough, check for yourself and you will see! I do my research before I upload the video! Thanks for watching! Cheers 🥂

@Liz that's not what the other user said. He/she called you bc you are misinformed. The location of this video tour is NOT "Scarborough's Chinatown". Your "research" is WRONG! What's even more pathetic is your refusal to acknowlege that you are wrong. Pffff.. CHANGE THE DAMN TITLE OF YOUR VIDEO ALREADY!
Nicely done, Liz 👍👍
“Take Your Bite” Super Yummy 😋 Thanks for watching!
Awesome, Liz!😄 I got a virtual full stomach at Full House.😋
