To be fair, tanks get a pretty unfair amount of hate. Teammates blame practically everything on you, when in reality you rely pretty heavily on heals and rely somewhat on DPS
In certain situations it could be supports, damage fault as well as tanks. Tanks have a tendency to not realize they’re health is dropping and don’t come back to get healed. OR or my top favorite. go in with doom/monkey Immediately dies and blames supports for not following him while our dps are dead. And sometimes not making room. It really is dependent on the situation. I don’t think tanks get an unfair hate.
Most likely why he was tilted. When I play tank its really the supports that send the hate too, and I main support too lol so it hurts even more.

Honestly I respect Shrek for not getting pissed at Bogur as he targets toxicity towards him. He casually accepts it and moves with it (I know it sounds stupid but considering how most players will do a 360 the second you bear your fangs towards them, he is an anomaly in this case)

I was playing on blizzard world, and on attack I went ball. My plan was to roll onto the point to get the enemy to come back and my team could move up. I did that, so many times I can’t even name a number. Each time at least 4 would come back for me, and yet my team refused to capitalize on the space I provided. One time after I’d kept myself alive on point for a while holding the enemy team there, I roll back and my entire team was just standing around the statue doing seemingly nothing. Then I got the messages on team chat telling me to switch.

Your team is dumb but you also should recognise you're in a lower rank and try to play closer to them. It's less optimal but 5 people with a bad plan is better than one person with a good one.

To be fair, the DPS started it. They were talking shit in VC and they were much more rude than he was to start off. They just didn’t lose it as much as the tank did.
that tank sounds very similar to this toxic tank i first learned about in an Ariana video from 4 months ago (but i'm not 100% sure). she altered his voice so he wasn't recognizable (since she knew the guy was a small streamer) but someone leaked his name in a comment and i saw it before it was deleted. i checked out his channel and saw from his vods that he had a large lack of emotional regulation and was just very egocentric (although maybe he's just having a bad year...)
i see now that he hasn't streamed overwatch in a few months so maybe it's not him, but this tank sounds so much like him (just with slight differences on his "t's" like in "talk") and MORE IMPORTANTLY acts a LOT like him ... although maybe it's not him since he probably wouldn't be in europe servers... idk....
if it's a different dude, it's crazy that he has a mental twin out there

Your tank is 12-4 and the enemy tank is 4-2 and it's a tank diff? He may be toxic but he's right, it's a massive DPS diff. Then instead of just playing the game and trying to win you sit around and instigate in the VC instead of healing.

he may be annoying but he ain't wrong lol, it don't matter how much space you make on tank, or how much you peel your DPS and enable them with support, if they don't get picks and deal damage you ain't gonna win, unfortunately DPS is the ONLY role that matters in this game unless we talkin about GM1+ scrims/contenders/OWL then probably Support matters the most, then tank, then DPS
id say tank and support matter equally, mostly because if you lose either that usually means you wont get a chance to equalise. If I die as tracer, it usually doesnt matter too much, unless it happens like every 2 minutes.
