There's so many books on the floor of the library. I'm guessing Marisa finally decided to return some of them but she decided to just put them wherever she wanted instead of where they actually belonged.
Fun fact about Meiling's attack. That raibow kick of hers or whatever it's called is rather similar to Krizalid's attack; Typhoon Rage. And if anyone is wondering, Krizalid is the last boss aad the main antagonist from KOF '99
Wow...I'm surprised you never mentioned the Marisa weathervane that shows up as the background changes. As for the other games you'll be doing, I'm excited to see what they are. (And oh god Double Spoiler...I wouldn't want to put you through that....oh yeah, and there's Hatate. If you want to 100% you have to play through the game TWICE. MWAHAHA!)

actually . you can beat the catfish before time runs out . if taisui xingjuns just destroy everything when time runs out . this means if time runs out at sanae vs suwako they both fall to death :s ?

(unless you purchased the disk, which in the case good luck. Meiling has much better bullets than Youmu. Range is not really that important compared to speed and flexibility.
