  • Oh la la! Have you seen Sweet Sticks' Metallic Paint Palette in action? C'est très magnifique! Water activated food paint in 10 beautiful metallic colors. I love the consistency, shine, and easy clean up. Watch how I use it to paint on royal icing and French macarons. I activated the paint with one drop of water at a time. If you want a thicker consistency mix longer and add more water.

*To achieve a watercolor effect on royal icing use edible pens (I used AmeriColor), parchment paper, and water or clear alcohol to transfer the paint on to the cookie. It's quick and easy! Wait for it to dry to finish decorating. You can reuse the parchment paper for different effects.
    Thanks for watching!

Hi. Love your work. Was that just water that you sprayed?

yachna baloo Thank you!! I used EverClear alcohol but water will work as well (it will just take a little longer to dry). 😊

Hi There - I have found the palettes but am keen to know more about the pen. It is beautifully fine. We only get horribly thick and chunky ones in South Africa. Could you please let me know where to get on line and if they come in a selection of colours. Many thanks. Your work is absolutely beautiful!!! I have just mastered macarons and now am up for the next challenge. But no where near your level of skill, lol

Tracey Savy That’s awesome! There’s a few options with edible pens: AmeriColor, Chefmaster or Rainbow Dust. You should be able to find them on their websites. I’m using AmeriColor in this video (www.americolorcorp.com/product/2-color-gourmet-writer-sets/) hope this helps! I normally buy through Amazon but not sure about South Africa ❤️
