After what happened in the TBT tournament, we REALLY need this one! Don’t think it’s gonna be a cakewalk like sone people are saying because of our point guard situation however I do think we get the win. GO CATS!!
To me Louisville is not a big time program nationally thought of. It’s really a program that’s build on some really wild luck in Pitino who offset the bad years that were coming after the 80’s. Outside of Kentucky you just don’t see anybody think about UL. To me, Kentucky vs. Tennessee is the more nationally recognized rivalry. I think UK fans in the state of Kentucky see them bigger than they are. Louisville isn’t a nationally relevant program and to me it’s a level above a western program but not much.
Kentucky vs. Louisville is NOT the biggest or best rivalry in college basketball! It's too lopsided to be a great rivalry! It's more like the hammer vs. nail scenario. North Carolina vs. Duke is the better rivalry because it is more competitive. Just because you hate a school does not make it a great rivalry! The results in a rivalry overall make it a great rivalry. If y'all look up the word "rivalry," you'll realize UK vs. UL is NOT a great rivalry. Another indication is what the national media and folks outside of UK and UL think about your rivalry. The majority of folks not fans of UK, UL, UNC, or DUKE would say UNC vs DUKE is the better rivalry. Kentucky vs Louisville is good rivalry but not great.
Duke and UNC isn’t a great rivalry. It’s largely made up by media. Most Duke fans didn’t even grow up in NC. Those two fanbases are basically 1 in the same. I do agree UK and UL isn’t really a rivalry. UL is like western outside of the state it’s just not nationally recognized. It’s just too small time. Kentucky vs. Tennessee is a much more recognized rivalry.
Mark Pope…coach of the year ❤❤❤❤
It was just announced yesterday that Mark Pope is officially on a national watchlist for The National Coach Of The Year award.
GO BIG BLUE❤❤❤❤

Proven fact people who play videos have a sharper mind then people who don't game. GO CATS!

Duke and UNC isn't great anymore either because both great coaches retired
@@shawnrichie-j7p that's your bias opinion. The television ratings say UNC vs Duke is still better than UK vs UL rivalry.
