Specially Italian and Rioplatense Spanish, I mean: the variety of Spanish spoken in most of Argentina and also in Uruguay. They have a very similar intonation because of the numerous Italian immigration that came here between the second half of the 19th Century and the First Half of the 20th Century. Spanish people sometimes cannot distinguish Argentines from Italians if they're hearing them from a distance!! And even Lunfardo, the Rioplatense slang, has a lot of words that are actually hispanizations of Italian words or even Italian words directly!!
It's because both Italian and Spanish are languages that come from Latin, just like Portuguese, Romanian and I think French, as much as people in the United States see the word Latino as the definition of a race, it is really the definition of a language and its derivatives

@ it’s similar to Spanish in general cause I’m from Puerto Rico and I understood absolutely everything that man said in Italian
