- Another adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.
I truly wish I could get one of those guns. 12 shots from a 6 shooter. Amazing western technology.
Its always good th see the "Used motor oil" looking coffee. Yum Yum!
This was very intense, succored me into his reconnection with his son, and the other facial expressions.
What a surprise...no sound...again.
"Nothing to see here, please disperse!"
PTSD
The anti-gun theme tells the story, no guns-no crime, except by those that are the supposed guardians.
Those that beat their swords into plow-shears, will plow for those that don't !!!!!!

*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY*
*I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound, little sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear every thing normally. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I watch these things and have sound.*

That's the guy from the naked gun .
Leslie Nielsen is a lot better when he's doing comedy!
Lying to a kid for wath ever reason ..
Again, I can't understand how Pernell Roberts thought that the script's were not good, with episodes like this
This was a poor reenactment of the shootings at the Texas School Book Depository Tower (as presented in the movie "Deadly Tower". There was no writing involved in the creation of this episode of Bonanza. In modern terms it was just cut and paste. And that's why Roberts felt as he did about the scripts. He was progressive. Wanted to add current affairs (as they were back then) into the themes of the show. Not a fan of labels but Roberts was a bit of a hippie beatnik. That's what drove his creativity. Might also call him a visionary. He saw the end of Bonanza if they stayed as is. The TV western genre was on it's way out and he had hopes of modernizing the stories to keep them culturally appealing. I enjoyed Bonanza as it was but also recognized that a new day was upon us.
It's funny that Leslie Nielsen used to be a serious actor, so he was cast in comedic roles to add comedic irony while using deadpan delivery, but now people think of him as a comedian.
This is a story to explainr what
Happend to the G i that came bsck from Nam with PTSD
They were screwed up pretty bad , and then people called them murderers and baby killer's and all kinds of filth
So many of them went to the streets and went on a rampage
Most people to younge to remember this .
This episode is meant to explain what was going on in these guys heads
It would seem they got it all wrong .
They did not understand that these guys were treated like dirt
For defending thier country
But this episode tries to address the issue

The Unseen Wound
Episode aired Jan 29, 1967
I think a lot of ex-servicemen could relate to this episode.

Bonanza brookhaven
Because he is a cop he is above the their law. He gets special treatment. Not even the flames of a burning building can condemn him. He gets to go the the special hospital and others to one that even Ben says a man would be better off taking a bullet to the head than to be in. These shows, some as good as they are are designed to make us think a certain way. I say let cops and their politicians be subject to their own laws. STRING’m UP. What can a person do thats worst than this.
You sound bitter
Never cared for James Coburn as an actor!
That's not James Coburn
But he’s not in this episode.
I don't like the way this little boy was used in this episode. He was way too young to understand. And silly plot.
