I guess you got this feeling because 伍樂城 is fond of using chord sequence from I to IV as noted in the first verse in this song as well as 逃避你 or even use IV as opening in 拖泥帶水 which is quite distinguishable from other pop style, creating a feeling of grand, making the song attractive. This is one of the features of him that I can pick up to instill such a bias impression of you to him. In fact, to me, he is already quite versatile and not as rigid as many other pop composers in the writing style
I wonder you comment on this based on the idea of the song instead of from a musical or lyrical point of view. I agree the idea of using God to praise love in a relationship is both boring or even outdated, but both the musical construction and lyrical expression should be appreciated - and last but not least - the vocalist.
