Why punish NGCP? Why not the. head of senate comittte of Energy for not doing his mandate to make a law for a sustainable energy for every Filipino and not extending RTIA in the senate?

NGCP OWNS THE DISTRIBUTION and some power production. They are task by the DOE which has no control on the production and distribution of electricity to provide the service. NGCP has lots of money and they know the engineering. They should have build more power or something to prevent such problem. DOE is the regulator. Don't blame it because they have done thei job already in papers and law, only the technicalities are left and some engineering falls to the Private, Monopolistic NGCP to do its job. But we all knw as private companies money is the most important thing to make the investors happy. Which is China 40% and 60% Some Really wealthy Filipinos. They know the problem and know what to do but it is very expensive so let the problem ongoing because some filipinos do not complain and they could just blame the Government for their supposed responsibility. NGCP must do its job for the Filipinos its high time that it must give up its 40% China owned and be bought by doe to make the government more involve. With that our complaints are more valid that its all the government fault. It is also high time to build competiotion another private to compete against NGCP a company that has vision for the benefit of its customers.

Dapat pini.penalty ng gobyerno yan pag may ganyang nangyayari.. Problema kasi sa pilipinas hanggang ngawa lang ang mga mambabatas at ang gobyerno.. Sa ibang pag may ganyang nangyayari lagot sila at bibigyan sila ng penalty ng gobyerno.. Kasi ang ibig la g sabihin nun.. Wala silang mga maintenance na ginagawa ang NGCP sa mga grid station nila.. Tsaka yung mga equipment sa grid station may expiration yan at dapat pinapalitan na pagkatapos ng lifespan neto bago pa man magkaproblema..

Di ka ba nagtataka na 6 power plants e sabay sabay na nag shutdown kahit magkakaiba ng company ang humahawak sa 6 na powerplants. Yung 6 na powerplants na may iba ibang company e hawak ng NGCP, and SGCC has access sa power grid ng Pinas as NGCP’s technical partner. Chinese engineers had access to key elements of the system, and that power could in theory be deactivated remotely on Beijing’s orders. Tama lang po yan na ma revoke ang franchise nila. Palitan ng isang franchise na may malasakit sa kanilang pinagkukunan ng kita ( mga tao ) na nagrereklamo sa ngcp serbisyo
the thing with the Panay blackout incident, its not just NGCP's fault, the name of the place is Panay Island, "ISLAND" meaning utilities like this should not only depend on distribution lines alone, they should have at least their own power generating facility in the Island which can be used as a backup or failsafe when things like this happens on the main grid, and maybe insist on giving incentives to establishments and maybe residential too on using solar, like some sort of tax exemption etc, and offer basic like house to grip type solar setup so other households can contribute on the island power generation, these are not just the NGCP's role, most of the solutions that i mention needs a competent leaders on their own local government units, mayors, governor and congressmen should work hand in hand and legislate this kind of solutions, stop being a reactive type of management to crisis like this and also "Boy Revoke" Boy Shutdown" strikes again, instead of coming up with solutions to prevent this from happening again, all he wants is revoke, or file cases, lets all be proactive to as to never encounter this again
Sadly our government is very incompetent to even know or think about this. Kailangan may maperwisyo muna bago umaksyon. And even if aksyunan nila, for sure ang daming corruption behind the scenes.

@@ankey7384 if we keep electing especially those in local government incompetent governors mayors congressman, its not just the national government responsibilities but moslty those on the grass roots that know their own situation, the national government should not always provide ways for all, thats what local government is for, they can recommend or introduce legislations local laws to help improve the lives of their constituents, what we have is a very reactive government not much a proactive one, the mayor or governor should have the knowledge of what island type landmass is missing which is proper energy facilities, they should have prioritized this over relying solely on power distribution companies, and as i have said introduced legislations on empowering or encouraging solar power implementations, and now together with those dumb senators, they are asking who to be blamed, but the national government has already put up legislations for adding nuclear power to our diminishing electrical grid,
Panay island has its own oil and coal power plants. It doesnt rely on outside sources for power.
Sa dami articles ma google mo about the issue and the fault of ngcp causing the power outage, dami mo satsat sa kung ano2x . Research ka muna bago ka mg blame sa mga local goverment officials na walang kaalam alam o kinalaman sa power production companies, power distribution companies o entities at ngcp na ng mamanage ng supply.

Revoking will not resolve the issue. The people of panay need to get their alternate source first.

This is why when it comes to national recourses like elictricity and water its only the national government that should have control. A big chunk of NGCP is owned by China and private company. Why revoke a franchise of the national distributor of electricity if the problem came from under supply of electricity? It is more proper to penalize power producers that do not supply in excess , because they know that over supply of power will lower electricity price particularly in WESM
