    How does this work? The air stone pusehs air into the aquarium. How does that result in the dirt being sucked in?? Please explain

    • @Fishandchips21
      @Fishandchips21 День назад

      Ok so I’m not a genius but I think it’s because the bubbles are forced out the top tube causing a suction into the sponge. I hope that makes sense sorry if it doesn’t

      Use an aquarium sponge, it will work best and like all the sponge filters available in the market, this filter will also need an air pump to work, there is no other option.

      1. Reduce the overall lighting for now (use a total of 50 watts of light), 10 hours / day. CO2 must be supplied at a rate of 4-5 bps as long as the aquarium lights are on.
      2. Consider adding liquid carbon to reduce hair algae.
      3. Use a good quality filter according to the size of your tank and increase the water circulation.
      4. Weekly change 50% of your aquarium water.
